海棠桜（かいどうざくら）

○怡顔斎が言うには、花は桐谷と同じで、色はほんのりとして海棠の花に似ている。桜海棠というものがあるが、これは桜ではない。附録に詳しく記載している。
千本桜（ちもとのさくら）

○怡顔斎が言うには、吉野や嵐山などで言う千本桜は、一本の木を指すのではなく、数の多いことを言う。今ここに図示するのは一品種である。花は八重で少し紅色がある。花形は桐谷にほぼ似ているが少し小さい。

Kaidō-zakura (Crabapple Cherry)

○Igan-sai says: The flowers are the same as Kiritani, with a subtle color resembling crabapple flowers. There exists something called sakura-kaidō (cherry crabapple), but this is not a cherry. It is described in detail in the appendix.
Senmoto-zakura (Thousand Cherry)

○Igan-sai says: The "thousand cherries" spoken of at Yoshino, Arashiyama and other places does not refer to a single tree, but to a great number of them. What is illustrated here is one variety. The flowers are double with a slight reddish tinge. The flower form roughly resembles Kiritani but is a little smaller.
