○怡顔斎曰く、千弁で少し薄紅色の小輪である。この大輪になるものを糸括（いとぐくり）という。すなわち糸括の品種である。
○活所翁桜譜曰く、奥州より出る。その形状は毬のようである。花は白く少し紅色である。花が開くのは諸桜より遅い。

○Igensei says: It has thousands of petals and is a small-flowered variety with a slightly pale red color. The large-flowered version of this is called Itogukuri (Thread-bound). This is indeed a variety of Itogukuri.
○The Cherry Catalog by Elder Kassho says: It originates from Ōshū. Its form resembles a ball. The flowers are white with a slight red tinge. It blooms later than other cherry varieties.
