現代語訳
○怡顔斎曰く、千弁で白色。枝の先端に群がり垂れる。すなわち大手毬の枝が垂れたものである。
○鈍永曰く、花形は立ち上がり、色は蕾のときは濃く、開いて一際薄く、三、四重の大輪のもの。これもまた大提灯という。

○Igensei says: It has thousands of petals and is white in color. They cluster and droop at the tips of branches. This is the Ōtemari variety with drooping branches.
○Donnei says: The flower form stands upright, and regarding color, when in bud it is dark, but when it opens it becomes remarkably pale. It has three to four layers of large petals. This is also called Ōchōchin (Large Lantern).
