現代語訳
○怡顔斎曰く、千弁の大輪である。一つの苞から五つの花房が一箇所に集まる。よってこの名を付けた。甚だ美しい。糸括りの類であろうか。花形は桐谷にも似ている。

○Igensei says: It has thousands of petals and large flowers. Five flower clusters gather together from one bract. Hence it was given this name. It is extremely beautiful. It may be of the Itokukuri type. The flower form also resembles Kiritani.
