現代語訳
葉は小さい。「はまでよき」という意味で名付けられた。
○活所翁の桜譜に言うには「八重咲きで小さい」。
○鈍永が言うには「芸花園によると、中央が白く、千弁で淡い紅色を帯び、若葉は少し黄色で絞り色である。非常に美しい」。

○怡顔斎が言うには「万弁で薄紅色、中輪である。普賢象の万弁のものである。この名前の由来は詳らかでない」。
英語訳
The leaves are small. It was named with the meaning of "hamade yoki" (good until the end/edge).
○ According to Kassho-ō's Cherry Catalog: "It is double-flowered and small."
○ Donnei says: "According to the Geika-en (Flower Garden), it has a white center, is thousand-petaled with a pale reddish tinge, and the young leaves are slightly yellow with a絞り (shibori) coloration. It is extremely beautiful."

○ Igan-sai says: "It has ten thousand petals and is pale pink in color, with medium-sized blooms. It is the ten thousand-petaled variety of Fugen-zō. The etymology of this name is not clear."
