大膳桜（おものざくら）

○鈍永曰 鳳来寺（ほうらいじ）より
少し小（ちいさ）し色 濃紅（こくあか）し
茎長く花弁（はなびらの）先（さき）細（ほそ）し
千弁（せんよう）也花 山吹（やまぶき）の花形
に似たり此 名義（めうぎ）詳（つまびらか）ならず

伊勢桜（いせざくら）

濃紫色（こむらさきいろ）に赤（あか）し花弁（はなびら）
の中（うち）の元（もと）白し
○活所翁桜譜曰色
紅にして甚 開（ひら）かず此花
尤 遅（をそ）し尾張（をはり）にちかき
義（ぎ）にて伊勢（いせ）と号（なづく）

現代語訳

大膳桜（おおぜんざくら）
【挿絵】
○鈍永が言うには「鳳来寺桜よりも少し小さい。色は濃い紅色。茎が長く花弁の先が細い。千弁である。花は山吹の花の形に似ている。この名前の由来は詳らかでない」。

伊勢桜（いせざくら）
【挿絵】
○怡顔斎が言うには「八重咲きで濃紫色に赤い。花弁の内側の根元は白い」。
○活所翁の桜譜に言うには「色は紅色で、あまり開かない。この花は最も遅咲きである。尾張に近いという意味で伊勢と名付けられた」。

英語訳

Ōzen Cherry (Ōzen-zakura)

○ Donnei says: "It is slightly smaller than the Hōraji cherry. The color is deep red. The stem is long and the tips of the petals are thin. It has a thousand petals. The flower resembles the shape of the yamabuki (Japanese rose) flower. The etymology of this name is not clear."

Ise Cherry (Ise-zakura)

○ Igan-sai says: "It is double-flowered, deep purple-red in color. The base of the inner petals is white."
○ According to Kassho-ō's Cherry Catalog: "The color is crimson and it does not open very much. This flower blooms the latest. It was named Ise with the meaning of being close to Owari."
