あり四季（しき）に花（はな）を貼（つく）不断（ふだん）桜と名付（なづく）彼（かの）

一物也 楊升庵（やうしやうあん）丹鉛総録（たんゑんそうろく）陸游（りくゆう）老学庵（らうがくあん）
筆記（ひつき）に載（のす）る所 正（まさ）に此 物（もの）を指（さす）也小 桃（とう）とも
小 桃紅（とうかう）とも出たり桃花（もゝのはな）の種類（しゆるい）にあらず
実（まこと）に桜中（あふちう）の一 品（ひん）にして小 花（くは）のもの也
又一 種（しゆ）花同して三度（みたび）桜といふもの有一 年（ねん）
に花三度 開（ひら）く是不断桜の類（るい）也
○鈍永曰芸花園云若木不断桜といふ
現代語訳
初めはただ桃の花に一種早く開くものがあるだけと思っていたが、成都に遊んだ時になって初めて、いわゆる小桃と呼ばれるものを知った。正月前後にすぐに花を咲かせ、その様子は垂糸海棠のようである。曾鞏の雑識に「正月二十日に天章閣で小桃を賞でる」とあるのは、正にこれを指している。
と記されている。また伊勢の白子観音寺の庭に桜があり、四季に花をつけ、不断桜と名付けられている。その土地の人に尋ねてみると、明石や広島のものと
同じものである。楊慎の丹鉛総録で陸游の老学庵筆記に載せられた所は、正にこの植物を指すものである。小桃とも小桃紅とも記されているが、桃花の種類ではない。
真に桜の中の一品種で、小さな花のものである。
また一種、花は同じで三度桜というものがあり、一年に花が三度開く。これは不断桜の類である。
○鈍永曰く、芸花園に「若木不断桜」というものがあると言う。

Initially, I thought there was merely one type of peach blossom that bloomed early, but when I traveled to Chengdu, I first came to know what is called "small peach." It immediately produces flowers around New Year, and its appearance resembles that of weeping begonia. Zeng Gong's miscellaneous records state "On the twentieth day of the first month, we appreciated small peach at Tianzhang Pavilion," which refers precisely to this.
As recorded. Also, there is a cherry tree in the garden of Shiroko Kannon Temple in Ise that blooms in all four seasons and is named Fudan-zakura (Perpetual Cherry). When I inquired with the local people, it is the same as those found in Akashi and Hiroshima.
It is the same plant. What is recorded in Yang Shen's "Comprehensive Record of Cinnabar and Lead" from Lu You's "Record of Old Learning Studio" refers precisely to this plant. It is written as both "small peach" and "small peach red," but it is not a variety of peach blossom.
It is truly one variety among cherry blossoms, with small flowers.
There is also another variety with the same flowers called "thrice cherry," which blooms three times in one year. This is a type of Fudan-zakura.
○Dōnei says that there is something called "young tree Fudan-zakura" in the flower garden records.
