綱昌様の御参勤の御礼を仰せ上げた際、御懇切なる上意をもって
昌親様の御事についてお尋ねがあったため、御礼として江戸表へ御使者を派遣し
御肴一種を献上したところ、右の御返書が今日、御老中土屋但馬守数直殿において相渡された。

One 1st Month, 1st Day: For New Year congratulations, a messenger was sent to present the customary ceremonial sword and horse payment
as tribute.
One 5th Month, 4th Day: Recently,
when Lord Tsunamasa offered gratitude for his sankin attendance, through gracious words from above,
there was an inquiry about Lord Masachika's affairs, so as thanks, a messenger was sent to Edo
and one type of ceremonial fish was presented. The reply letter for this was delivered today by Senior Councillor Tsuchiya Tajima-no-kami Kazunao.
