早駈ニ而江戸表江被指出之今日福井出立

左衛門、斉藤民部定之、多賀谷権大夫大広、稲垣安右衛門重猶（？）には御長蚫を
下された。瓦御門番以下は御目見えなしで御帳に記載して帰参した。
一 正月十一日 年始三ヶ日の御規式が済んだことへの御歓びとして御用番
土井能登守利房殿へ御書を提出された。
ただし上記の御返書は同月二十五日にお渡しになった。
一 五月十一日
公方様が御不例につき、御様体を御伺いするため御使者安島定之丞を
早駈で江戸表へ派遣された。今日福井を出立した。
一 同月（日不詳） 館林宰相綱吉様が去る七日に御養君であることが仰せ出され、

御長蚫 (ceremonial gifts). The tile gate guards and below returned after being recorded in the register without formal audience.
One 1st Month, 11th Day: As congratulations for the completion of the three-day New Year ceremonies, a letter was submitted to
Doi Noto-no-kami Toshifusa, who was on duty.
However, the reply letter was handed over on the 25th of the same month.
One 5th Month, 11th Day:
Due to the Shogun's illness, messenger Ajima Sadanonjō was dispatched by express courier
to Edo to inquire after his condition. He departed Fukui today.
One Same month (day unknown): On the 7th, it was announced that Lord Tsunayoshi, Minister of the Left of Tatebayashi, had been designated as heir,

and as congratulations for his promotion in court rank, messenger Kōzai Hachirōbei Masasuke was
dispatched to the Senior Councillors.
However, this messenger was to be sent from the home domain in principle, but Hachirōbei,
who was stationed in Edo, carried out this duty.
One Same month, 13th Day:
Due to the Shogun's death on the 8th (posthumous Buddhist name: Genyūin-sama),
messenger Ariga Saikū was dispatched by express courier to Edo
to inquire after Lord Dainagon's well-being. He departed Fukui today.
One Same month, 17th Day: Messenger Ariga Saikū arrived in Edo and [reported] to the Senior Councillors
