【右丁】
法皇御所が去る十九日に崩御されたことにつき、京都所司代戸田越前守忠昌殿へ
御書を差し出された。
一 八月二十五日 上記同様の件につき
上様の御機嫌伺いのため御使者伊藤条左衛門を江戸表へ派遣された。
今日福井を出立。
ただし条左衛門の江戸到着日は不明。閏八月七日に御返書が渡された。
一 同月二十七日
綱昌様の少将御拝任につき御礼のため御使者土浦市郎兵衛則明を江戸
表へ派遣され、御肴一種を献上された。市郎兵衛は今日福井を出立。

一 閏八月二日
将軍宣下（去月二十三日）が済んだことへの御歓びの御書を差し出された。
ただし同月十六日に御返書が渡された。

将軍宣下が済んだことへの御祝儀のため御使者陰山与兵衛をもって御太刀
馬代（黄金十両）を献上された。
ただし右の御使者は御国許から派遣した体裁で、江戸表に詰めている与兵衛をもって

Regarding the passing of the Retired Emperor at the Imperial Palace on the 19th day past, a letter was submitted to Toda Echizen-no-kami Tadamasa, the Kyoto Deputy (Shoshidai).
One 8th Month, 25th Day: Regarding the same matter as above,
messenger Ito Jōzaemon was dispatched to Edo to inquire after His Lordship's well-being.
Departed Fukui today.
However, the date of Jōzaemon's arrival in Edo is unknown. A reply letter was delivered on the 7th day of intercalary 8th month.
One Same month, 27th Day:
Regarding Tsunamasa-sama's appointment as Minor Captain (shōshō), messenger Tsuchiura Ichirōbei Noriaki was dispatched to Edo
for thanks, and one type of ceremonial fish was offered. Ichirōbei departed Fukui today.

However, the date of Ichirōbei's arrival in Edo is unknown. A reply letter was delivered on the 10th day of intercalary 8th month.
One Intercalary 8th Month, 2nd Day:
A letter of congratulations was submitted regarding the completion of the shogun's imperial appointment (senka) on the 23rd day of last month.
However, a reply letter was delivered on the 16th day of the same month.
One Same month, 12th Day:
For congratulations on the completion of the shogun's imperial appointment, through messenger Kageyama Yohei, a ceremonial sword
and horse substitute (ten ryō of gold) were offered.
However, while this messenger appeared to be dispatched from the domain, it was actually presented through Yohei who was stationed in Edo.
