綱昌様は御帰国後に御参府されるよう当春御指図があったけれども、御病気で御帰国されていないため、御参府の儀を再び御伺いするため江戸表へ御使者嶋崎市郎右衛門を差し出された。今日福井出立。
ただし市郎右衛門の江戸着日は詳らかでない。
一 同月二十三日、右同断のため御老中連名の御奉書が御老中宅において渡された。
「御状を拝見いたしました。参勤時分の儀、同氏越前守」

Although there were instructions this spring that Lord Tsunamasa should come to Edo after returning to his domain, since he has not returned to his domain due to illness, messenger Shimazaki Ichirōemon was dispatched to Edo to again inquire about the matter of coming to Edo. [He] departed from Fukui today.
However, the date of Ichirōemon's arrival in Edo is unknown.
