帰国以後参府するべきの旨、最前奉書を遣わし候。しかしながら、越前守は病気につき重ねて使者をもって伺われ候。紙面の通り言上に及び候ところ、当八月中に参上致すべき旨を仰せ出され候。その趣をご存知おかれ候。恐々謹言

厳有院様の御法事が首尾よく済み、去る八日に御参詣なされ、御機嫌よく還御された旨をご承知になられたため、御歓びの御書を差し出された。
一 六月九日、暑中につき
公方様、若君様の御機嫌伺いのため御書を差し出された。
ただし同月十九日に右の御返書を渡された。

Regarding the matter that [you] should come to Edo after returning to your domain, an official letter was sent previously. However, since Echizen-no-kami is ill, [he] has again inquired through a messenger. When the matter was reported as stated in the written document, it was ordered that [he] should come to Edo during the current 8th month. Please be informed of this matter. With fear and respect, humbly stated.

Since it was acknowledged that the memorial service for Genyū-in-sama was completed successfully, and that [the shogun] had visited on the 8th day and returned in good spirits, a letter of congratulations was submitted.
Item: On the 9th day of the 6th month, due to the hot season
A letter was submitted to inquire about the health of the Shogun and the Young Lord.
However, a reply to the above was delivered on the 19th day of the same month.
