一羽宿継證文添御渡有之
一 同月九日宿継御奉書を以御拝領之御鷹之鶴福井江着於
御座所御頂戴有之
一筆令啓達候
公方様益御機嫌能被成御座候間可御心
安候将又御鷹之鶴拝領候之条 以 宿次

【右丁】
ただし平左衛門の江戸着日は不詳、十二月七日に御返書が相渡された。
一 十二月四日、御老中稲葉美濃守正則殿からの御呼び出しで、御留守居彦坂又兵衛が
御城へ出向いたところ、御鷹の鶴御拝領につき、御老中連名の御奉書並びに鶴
一羽と宿継証文を添えて御渡しがあった。
一 同月九日、宿継御奉書をもって御拝領の御鷹の鶴が福井へ着き、
御座所にて御頂戴があった。
一筆申し上げます。
公方様におかれましてはますます御機嫌よく御座候間、御心
安らかにお思いください。また、御鷹の鶴を拝領いたしましたので、宿次

However, the date of Heizaemon's arrival in Edo is unknown; the reply letter was delivered on the 7th day of the 12th month.
One 12th Month, 4th Day: By summons from Senior Councillor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori, the Edo representative Hikosaka Matabei
went to the castle, where regarding the bestowment of cranes [caught by] the gifted hawks, an official letter jointly signed by the Senior Councillors along with one crane
and relay station documents were handed over.
One Same month, 9th Day: By means of the relay station official letter, the cranes [caught by] the gifted hawks arrived in Fukui and
were received at the lord's quarters.
I humbly write to inform you:
The Shogun is in increasingly good health, so please be
at ease. Moreover, as cranes [caught by] the gifted hawks have been bestowed, [we] send them via relay stations.
