現代語訳
一 十二月十日、右と同様の件につき御礼のため御使者として御番頭佐野内膳影平を江戸
表へ派遣された。今日福井を出立。
ただし右の御礼御使者の人選の件については江戸表において
綱昌様からお伺いを立てられたところ、御番頭を派遣するのが適当との御指図があった。
一、内膳の江戸着日並びに御目見、御返書御渡し等の月日は御記録類に詳細なし。
一 同月十六日、先達て
綱昌様へ上使をもって御鷹の鶴の御拝領があった件の御礼のため江戸表へ
御使者を派遣していたところ、右の御返書が今日、御老中稲葉美濃守正則殿において相
渡された。
一 同月二十一日、寒中につき
公方様の御機嫌伺いのため御書をもって御肴を献上したところ、右の御返書が今日
御老中稲葉美濃守正則殿において相渡された。

One 12th Month, 10th Day: Regarding the same matter as above, as an expression of gratitude, the messenger and guard commander Sano Naizen Kagehira was dispatched to Edo.
He departed from Fukui today.
However, regarding the matter of personnel selection for this gratitude messenger,
when Lord Tsunamasa made inquiry at Edo,
instructions were given that it would be appropriate to dispatch a guard commander.
One: The date of Naizen's arrival in Edo, as well as the dates of the audience and delivery of the reply letter, are not detailed in the records.
One Same month, 16th Day: Previously,
Lord Tsunamasa had received cranes [caught by] gifted hawks through an official envoy, and a messenger had been dispatched to Edo
to express gratitude for this. The reply letter for this was
delivered today by Senior Councillor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori.
One Same month, 21st Day: Due to the cold season,
fish was offered with a letter to inquire after the Shogun's health, and the reply letter for this was delivered today
by Senior Councillor Inaba Mino-no-kami Masanori.
