何と欤不融通之事寄上納可相調者迄も
延引せしめ候より自然不納人多相成甚如何
之事ニ候就而ハ是迄毎年上納無滞相運居候

共取都向與頭庄屋共へ申付候条組切受持
教諭人共最寄元取組頭庄屋共申談村々
庄屋五人組共呼寄上納延引成居申者共
三月十日限り精々上納為相運心得違之者共
江者懇ニ教諭ニ及其上ニも兎角不心得を以上納
不相運者又者初年以来追々手元不廻りニて
無據不納せしめ居候者は夫々名面幷上納
銀年々滞員数とも郡中帳面ニ取都元取組頭
庄屋より同十六日迄無間違御役處へ

現代語訳
何やら不景気のことを理由に、上納できる者までも
延引させることにより、自然と不納人が多くなり、はなはだ良くない
ことです。このことについては、これまで毎年上納を滞りなく続けている
者の心持ちに差し障り不都合なので、この度右の不納人
どもの取り締まりについて与頭庄屋どもへ申し付けるので、組ごとに受け持ち、
教え諭す人どもは最寄りの元取組頭庄屋どもと申し談じ、村々の
庄屋五人組どもを呼び寄せ、上納延引をしている者どもに
三月十日を期限として、精一杯上納するよう運ぶべし。心得違いの者ども
には懇切に教え諭すこと。その上でもとかく不心得で上納を
しない者、または初年以来次第に手元が回らなくて
やむを得ず不納をしている者については、それぞれ名前並びに上納
銀の年々の滞納員数とも郡中帳面に、取締元取組頭
庄屋より同十六日まで間違いなく御役所へ
差し出すべきこと。

headmen and five-person group members, and ensure that those who are delaying their payments
make every effort to complete their payments by the deadline of the 10th day of the 3rd month. For those who are
mistaken in their understanding, provide thorough instruction and admonishment. Even after this, those who still fail to make payments
due to lack of understanding, or those who have been unable to pay
since the first year due to gradually worsening financial circumstances beyond their control,
shall have their respective names as well as the annual amounts
of overdue silver recorded in the district ledgers, and the supervising senior group leaders and
village headmen shall submit these without error to the government office
by the 16th of the same month.
