遂披見候随而毎年柄之義畠作之村々
買米外難渋之趣ニ相聞候得共別儀ヲ以此度
限り淡州米ヲ以御年貢且給人歩一等上納
幷究向共夫々申出之通承届候条此段
被申聞且件之趣御蔵奉行之面々江も
可被申聞旨本〆中申達事

　嘉永六丑年十一月十四日御渡被遊候御書付之写

現代語訳

拝見いたしました。毎年の年柄の件について、畠作の村々が
買米以外に困窮している趣旨は承知いたしますが、特別措置として今度
限りで淡路国の米をもって御年貢ならびに給人への歩一等上納、
および決裁に関する件について、それぞれ申し出の通り承知いたします。この件について
申し伝えます。また、この趣旨を御蔵奉行の方々にも
申し伝えるよう、本締中より申し達します。

英語訳

We have reviewed this matter. Regarding the annual conditions, we understand that dry field farming villages are in distress with no alternatives other than purchased rice, but as a special measure, for this time only, we acknowledge the proposals regarding using Awaji rice for annual tax payments and stipend recipient fees, as well as matters concerning approval procedures, as submitted. We hereby communicate this matter. Additionally, we direct that this matter also be communicated to the granary magistrates through the head administrators.
