右之通元〆之面々達有之此度之義ハ格別之取究ニ付
同心壱人下才判弐人郷目付弐人番非人弐人右七人ヲ
一組ニゐたし北方へ三先南方へ弐先打廻りとして
近日出張申付候尤南北奥山分迄も為取調候事ニ
付而者組々ニ而郷目付召仕方ヲ始メ諸事御都合成
候様可相心得候右之懸りニ付其方共ニおゐても無油断
相心得罷在胡乱成者有之候得者早々申出候様可仕事
但此度之義舩調ヲも申付候ニ付時至り小舟
取渡り配之義同心共ゟ申出候得者無指支
様可相心得候事

津田叶殿から穂積恰江への懸け合いで指図があったので、取り扱いは左の通りである。
ただし鎌田久太郎から槌谷市左衛門への文通では
内々の事であり表向きの懸け合いがなければ取り込みが困難という趣旨で
あったが、今度は鍛冶屋原村茂三郎詮議中の
事なので本文の通り取り計らうこと

右の通り元締の面々から達しがあり、この度の件は格別の取り究めにつき、
同心一人・下才判二人・郷目付二人・番非人二人、右七人を
一組として北方へ三組、南方へ二組を巡回組として
近日出張を申し付ける。もっとも南北奥山分まで取り調べのため
組々において郷目付の使い方をはじめ諸事都合がよくなるよう
心得るべきである。右の懸かりについてそなたらにおいても油断なく
心得て在り、胡乱な者があれば早々申し出るよう仕るべき事
ただしこの度の件では船の手配も申し付けるので、時至り小舟の
取り渡しや配置について同心らから申し出があれば支障の
ないよう心得るべき事

However, in the correspondence from Kamata Kyūtarō to Tsuchitani Ichizaemon,
it was stated that since this was an internal matter, it would be difficult to proceed without
official consultation, but since this time it concerns the investigation of Shigeichiro
from Kajiyahara Village, it shall be handled as stated in the main text.

As instructed by the chief officials as stated above, since this matter requires exceptional investigation,
one dōshin, two gesaiban, two village inspectors, and two bannin - these seven persons shall form
one group, with three groups dispatched to the northern areas and two groups to the southern areas for patrol rounds,
to be dispatched in the near future. Since investigations must extend even to the deep mountain areas of the north and south,
each group should understand how to properly utilize village inspectors and ensure all matters are arranged conveniently.
Regarding these duties, you too must remain vigilant and
alert, and should any suspicious persons be found, report them immediately.
However, since ship arrangements have also been ordered for this matter, when the time comes
and the dōshin request small boats for transport and deployment, you should understand
to ensure there are no obstacles.
