手紙をもって申し上げます。さて、このたび胡乱狩りの件につきまして、この間中ご承知の通り、御山下組々の件は郷目付が廻在村々を相定めて居住しておりますが、御山下以外の件についてはそのような取り決めがないため、時期が来た際に御用方の便宜が図れない事態も生じるのではないかと、出合った小子どもが申し合わせ、詳細を以下の通り書付にまとめて差し上げましたところ、お受け取りいただけましたので、このようにご承知いただけますようお願いいたします。まずは右の件についてお申し継ぎいただけますよう、このように申し上げます。以上

Regarding the matter of the koranrai (suspicious person hunt) this time, as you are aware during this period, concerning the御山下組々 (Oyamashita groups), rural inspectors have been assigned to patrol and reside in the villages. However, for areas outside of御山下, no such arrangements exist, and we fear that when the time comes, it may not be possible to provide proper convenience for official duties. Having discussed this matter among ourselves, we have compiled the details in a written document as follows and submitted it to you. Since it has been received, we ask that you acknowledge this matter. First, we respectfully request that you relay this matter to the appropriate authorities. The above.
