持明院相對勧化之義ニ付組頭庄屋共へ勧化方申談
左通之義先麻植阿波名東名西御手崎申談候所ヵ
藍方寐床改役ゟ藍賣事仕候筋々或者
調達方御用判【私ヵ】抔へ相通候様仕候者之内床改役
之内ニ與頭庄屋も御坐候ニ付右者へ板野郡之
義ハ山田半兵衛多田藤右衛門近藤庄作相通候様
可被仰付哉外御手崎之義も右等同様仕候旨申談

持明院相対勧化の義について、組頭・庄屋共へ勧化方申し談じ、左の通りの義をまず麻植・阿波・名東・名西・御手崎に申し談じた所、藍方寝床改役から藍売りの事を仕る筋々、或いは調達方御用判（私用か）などへ相通ずるように仕る者の内で、床改役の内に与頭・庄屋も御座候につき、右の者へ板野郡の義は山田半兵衛・多田藤右衛門・近藤庄作が相通ずるよう仰せ付けられるべきでしょうか。外の御手崎の義も右等同様に仕る旨申し談じ候につき、右の段お伺い奉り候事。

○【Red notation】Twelve Kōka 1st year, 8th month, 9th day Document regarding the directive on Jimyōin temple solicitation
Regarding the matter of Jimyōin temple's direct solicitation, having consulted with the group heads and village headmen about the solicitation method, we first discussed the following matters with Oe, Awa, Myōdō, Myōsai, and Otesaki. Among those who conduct indigo sales through the indigo bed inspection officials, or those who communicate with procurement officials (possibly private use), there are group leaders and village headmen among the bed inspection officials. For these individuals, regarding Itano District, should Yamada Hanbē, Tada Tōemon, and Kondō Shōsaku be ordered to communicate accordingly? We have discussed that other Otesaki matters should be handled similarly, and therefore we humbly inquire about this matter.
