村役人注進書之義者御役場手代當指出
與頭手許ニ而直ニ見分いたし候様兼而申渡

往来手形被盗取候段相違無之候とも
現在見分先ニ而見及不申而者寺院導
師を以取葬候義者一應御役処不窺出
而者不相調御成行之段可相心得事
但最初ゟ往来所持不仕者者尚更見分之上
葬方伺出候筈其時ニ應七日触又者椀
物乞喰体ニ候へハ取捨等下知及候御成り
行之事
一木札ヲ建候往来手形ニ基可申筈事
一寺院導師申付候へハ其院導師

村役人の注進書の件については、御役場の手代が当座に指出し、
与頭の手元で直接見分けするよう、かねてより申し渡し
があること
往来手形を盗み取られた旨、相違ないといっても、
現場で見分けする先において見及ばないうちは、寺院の導師
を以て取り葬ることについては、一応御役所にお伺いを出さ
なければ整わない御成り行きの段、心得るべきこと
ただし最初から往来を所持していない者はなおさら見分けの上で
葬り方をお伺い出すはずで、その時に応じて七日の触れまたは椀
物乞いの様子であれば取り捨て等の下知に及ぶ御成り
行きのこと
一、木札を建てる往来手形に基づくべきはずのこと
一、寺院に導師を申し付けるのであれば、その院の導師の
書面を差し出すべきこと

Regarding reports from village officials, there has been a standing order that clerks from the government office should submit them immediately and conduct direct inspections at the group leader's office.
Even if there is no doubt that travel permits have been stolen, unless inspection is conducted at the actual site first, burial conducted through temple priests requires prior inquiry to the government office - this is the established procedure to be understood.
However, for those who did not possess travel permits from the beginning, inspection must be conducted first before submitting burial inquiries. Depending on the circumstances, seven-day notices or, in cases of beggars with bowls, orders regarding disposal will be issued - this is the established procedure.
