一耕作へ罷出候節不圖見當り拾置追而
出張有之節彼家々へ差別無之指出来
候類是ハ尤之筋ニ相見候事
一矢先不相厭柳林之中なとへ隠れ居候て
落候品を拾取候者も折々有之候事
但此株甚浮雲いたし方也乍併此儀者
他流之人々秘法ヲ盗甚志有之候者儀
も難斗一概百姓共ニも不相考候へ共
心得違之者有之候而ハ実ニ 浮雲（アブナキ）候
一近来ホンヘン之稽古も折々いたし
此玉ハ先日本流之炮録と申様之品ニ向
玉落候處ニ而 破（ヤブル）裂（サケル）致候ニ付其邊ニ罷在
候へハ必命を失ひ候場ニ相至り候間兼相心得
寄々無屹庄助之心付當ニ而可申聞置候
前々之株も浮雲いたし方なれとも
先済来候処ボンヘン相始り候而ハ不弁之
現代語訳
一 耕作に出かけた際に偶然見つけて拾い置き、後に
出張がある際に彼らの家々へ区別なく差し出してくる
類いは、もっともな筋に見えること
一 矢先を厭わず柳林の中などに隠れ居て
落ちた品を拾い取る者も時々いること
但しこの種類は甚だ危険な行為である。しかしながらこの件は
他流の人々が秘法を盗む志が深くある者の件
も計り難く、一概に百姓たちにも考えが及ばないが
心得違いの者がいては実に危険である
一 近来砲弾の稽古も時々行い
この玉は先日本流の砲術録と申すような品に向けて
玉が落ちた所で破裂したため、その辺りに居合わせ
れば必ず命を失う場に至るので、予め心得ておき
よく注意して庄助の注意事項として申し聞かせ置くべきである
