文昭院様 御仏殿御上棟之節御手伝之家
来熨斗目半上下着用仕廻廊ニ相詰候由承之

御書付之趣致承知候御用相勤候御家来共
装束先例之通ニ而廻廊江相詰候様可被仰付由
現代語訳
有章院様の御仏殿の上棟が行われる。その刻限以前に直垂を着用し、増上寺に詰めるべきである。
三月十四日
一、三月十五日、来る十九日の増上寺における
有章院様御仏殿御上棟について、その際に御普請場に配置されている
御家来を派遣すべきかどうかという件について、御使者として御留守居宮北十郎左衛門（定由）を通じて
左の通り御伺書を提出した

来る十九日
有章院様の御仏殿御上棟について、御場所に申し付けて
配置している家来共も派遣すべきでしょうか。先年の
文昭院様の御仏殿御上棟の節には、御手伝の家来は
熨斗目半上下を着用して廻廊に詰めたと承っており
ますので、お伺いいたします。以上

右を提出したところ、左の通り御返答があった
御書付の趣旨を承知した。御用を勤める御家来共の
装束は先例の通りにして廻廊に詰めるよう申し付けるべきである旨

The roof-raising ceremony for Yūshō-in-sama's Buddhist hall will take place. Prior to that appointed time, one should don hitatare court dress and be stationed at Zōjō-ji Temple.
March 14th
1. March 15th, regarding the coming 19th day at Zōjō-ji Temple
Concerning Yūshō-in-sama's Buddhist hall roof-raising ceremony, regarding whether the retainers stationed at the construction site for that occasion should be dispatched, through the messenger and deputy Miyanishi Jūrōzaemon (Sadayoshi),
the following inquiry document was submitted:

On the coming 19th day
Regarding Yūshō-in-sama's Buddhist hall roof-raising ceremony, should the retainers I have ordered to be stationed at the site also be dispatched? In previous years,
during Bunshō-in-sama's Buddhist hall roof-raising ceremony, I have heard that the assisting retainers
wore noshime half-dress and were stationed in the corridors,
so I humbly inquire about this. The above.

The contents of the written document have been acknowledged. The retainers performing official duties should
dress according to precedent and be stationed in the corridors, as should be ordered.
