一、三月十六日、大橋御普請は当正月から取りかかり出来上がったところ、来る十九日が
吉日につき、先年の通り駒屋善五郎・荒木長右衛門両人とも妻子を
連れて渡り初めを行うよう申し渡すべき旨を、町奉行海福猪兵衛（本好）に御家老が
申し渡した。
一、三月十八日、増上寺御普請場へ御見分のため御出になられた。
一、三月十九日（午前六時前）
有章院様御霊屋御上棟につき増上寺へ御出、本坊にて
御装束をお直し（御直垂）、御仏殿へ御詰、御規式が首尾よく済んだ（午前四時）。
再び本坊へ御出、御装束をお直し（御熨斗目御長上下）、御上棟が首尾よく済んだ。
御届けのため、増上寺方丈御勤めより御老中へ御廻勤した。
一、同日、右同断が済んだにつき、御普請場に配置されていた御人数をお引き
取りになったにつき、御届けのため御用掛り御老中久世大和守（重之）殿へ
御使者として御留守居宮北十郎左衛門（定由）を派遣した。その他御役人中へも
御使者を派遣した。
一、三月二十日、御普請御成就、御上棟が首尾よく済んだにつき、京都
所司代水野和泉守（忠之）殿へ御書を遣わした。
一、三月二十五日、御老中久世大和守（重之）殿へ御逢対、御勤めした。
一、三月二十六日、御用番阿部豊後守（正喬）殿へ御逢対、御勤めした。

1. March 16th: The Ōhashi construction project, which began this past New Year, has been completed. Since the coming 19th day is an auspicious day, following precedent from previous years, both Komaya Zengoro and Araki Chōemon, along with their wives and children, should perform the bridge-crossing ceremony. This was conveyed by the senior retainer to the town magistrate Kaifuku Ihee (Motoyoshi).
1. March 18th: His lordship went out to inspect the Zōjō-ji construction site.
1. March 19th (before 6 AM):
For the roof-raising ceremony of Yūshō-in-sama's mausoleum, his lordship went to Zōjō-ji Temple, changed into ceremonial dress (hitatare court dress) at the main temple building, proceeded to the Buddhist hall, and the ritual was completed successfully (at 4 AM).
He returned again to the main temple building, changed ceremonial dress (into noshime long formal dress), and the roof-raising ceremony was completed successfully.
For notification purposes, the head priest of Zōjō-ji made rounds to the senior councilors.
1. Same day: Since the above was completed, the personnel stationed at the construction site were withdrawn. For notification purposes, a messenger, deputy Miyanishi Jūrōzaemon (Sadayoshi), was dispatched to the senior councilor in charge, Kuze Yamato-no-kami (Shigeyuki). Messengers were also dispatched to other officials.
1. March 20th: Since the construction was successfully completed and the roof-raising ceremony concluded well, a letter was sent to the Kyoto deputy, Mizuno Izumi-no-kami (Tadayuki).
