一、四月十二日、巡見使が福井を出立するにつき、加賀口御門内まで御見送りのため、御家老の酒井玄蕃（知房）、本多修理（恒久）、稲葉采女（正方）が出向いた。

一、四月十四日、巡見使は昨夜棗郷に宿泊したところ、雨天のため逗留することとなった。

一、四月十六日（夜四時）、下寺町の油屋喜右衛門という者の地名子から出火し、南風が強く西山町まで焼失、類焼した家数は百十軒であった。

一、四月十九日、御老中久世大和守（重之）殿への御目見えを御勤めした。

一、四月二十日、巡見使が金津での宿泊から加州へ向かうにつき、御馳走のために付けられていた御役人たちが御見送りのため出向き、御医師たちは御国境まで見送って帰った。

一、四月二十一日、御用番井上河内守（正岑）殿へ、本多孫太郎（長員）の遺物並びに大蔵（長教）の継目の御礼として、以下の通り献上する旨の御書付を、御使者として御留守居大関新五左衛門（直看）を以て提出した。

1. On the 12th day of the 4th month, as the inspection commissioners (junkenshi) departed from Fukui, the senior retainers Sakai Genba (Tomofusa), Honda Shuri (Tsunehisa), and Inaba Uneme (Masakata) went out to the Kaga-guchi gate to see them off.

1. On the 14th day of the 4th month, the inspection commissioners, who had stayed overnight at Natsume-go, were delayed due to rainy weather.

1. On the 16th day of the 4th month (at 4 o'clock at night), a fire broke out from the servant quarters of a person called Aburaya Kiemon in Shimoteramachi. Due to strong south winds, the fire spread to Nishiyama-cho, and 110 houses were destroyed.

1. On the 19th day of the 4th month, [the lord] performed his duty of audience with Senior Councilor Kuze Yamato-no-kami (Shigeyuki).
