一同日大目付中ゟ鉄炮御改之儀ニ付左之通御廻状来
覚
一鉄炮改之儀向後関八州者貞享四年に被 仰出候
趣ニ相心得鉄炮改役江相伺可受差図候事
但猪鹿狼多く出田畑をあらし候節ハ不及相伺
御料私領寺社領共ニ月切日切を極玉込鉄炮
にてうたせ其段早速鉄炮改役江可相届候打
仕廻候ハヽ鉄炮取上て是又其趣改役江可相届
候事
一江戸より十里四方ハ猟師たりといふ共一切ニ
鉄炮取上可申事
但猪鹿狼多く出田畑をあらし人馬江懸り
百姓及難儀候節ハ鉄炮改役江相伺可受差図
候事
一関八州之外之国々ハ鉄炮改役江例年証文等
差出候事以来不及其儀候尤猥ニ無之様ニ御料
私領寺社領共急度可申付候事

を献上した。
一、同日、大目付中より鉄砲御改めの件につき、左の通り回状が来た。
覚
一、鉄砲改めの件について、今後関八州においては貞享四年に仰せ出された趣旨に心得て、鉄砲改役に伺いを立てて指図を受けるべきこと。
但し、猪・鹿・狼が多く出て田畑を荒らす際は、伺いを立てる必要はない。
御料・私領・寺社領ともに月切・日切を定めて玉込み鉄砲で撃たせ、その段階で早速鉄砲改役に届け出ること。撃ち
終わったならば鉄砲を取り上げて、これもまたその旨を改役に届け出ること。
一、江戸より十里四方は、猟師であろうとも一切に鉄砲を取り上げ申すべきこと。
但し、猪・鹿・狼が多く出て田畑を荒らし、人馬に掛かって百姓が難儀に及ぶ際は、鉄砲改役に伺いを立てて指図を受けること。
一、関八州以外の国々は、鉄砲改役に例年証文等を差し出すことは今後その必要はない。もっとも、軽率にならないよう、御料・私領・寺社領ともに厳重に申し付けるべきこと。

1. On the same day, a circular notice came from the chief inspectors regarding the matter of firearm inspection, as follows:
Memorandum
1. Regarding the matter of firearm inspection, henceforth in the Eight Kantō Provinces, one should understand the intent proclaimed in Jōkyō 4 and consult with the firearm inspection officials to receive instructions.
However, when wild boar, deer, and wolves appear in large numbers and damage fields, consultation is not necessary.
In government lands, private domains, and temple/shrine territories alike, set monthly or daily limits for shooting with loaded firearms, and promptly report this to the firearm inspection officials. When
shooting is finished, confiscate the firearms and also report this matter to the inspection officials.
1. Within a ten-ri radius of Edo, even if they are hunters, all firearms shall be confiscated without exception.
However, when wild boar, deer, and wolves appear in large numbers, damage fields, attack people and horses, and cause hardship to farmers, consult with the firearm inspection officials to receive instructions.
1. For provinces outside the Eight Kantō Provinces, submitting annual certificates and other documents to the firearm inspection officials will no longer be necessary. However, to ensure there is no negligence, strict orders shall be given to government lands, private domains, and temple/shrine territories alike.
