書状令披見候継目付而以使者御太刀一腰
御馬一疋并奉書紙二十束且孫太郎遺物
延寿国吉之御腰物献上之候御序有之而

現代語訳
書状を拝見いたしました。継目につき使者をもって御太刀一腰、
御馬一匹並びに奉書紙二十束、かつ孫太郎遺物の
延寿国吉の御腰物を献上されました。御序もあり
披露いたしました。両通の書面の趣旨はそれぞれ一覧のことであります。
略儀ながら謹んで申し上げます。

一六月四日 本多大蔵（長教）の継目の御礼が済んだにつき、御礼勤めの件を
御用番戸田山城守（忠真）殿まで御留守居より伺ったところ、御飛札を
提出するよう御指図があった
一六月五日 川端御茶屋において相撲を御覧になり、御家老をはじめ毎度拝
見を仰せつけられた面々が罷り出た
一六月十二日 暑中につき御機嫌伺いのため御使者下山半左衛門（尚恭）を
江戸表へ指し出し、串海鼠一箱を献上した。半左衛門は今日福井を出立した
一六月十三日 御帰国御礼の御使者有賀小右衛門（政庸）が江戸着（留守居大関新五左衛門同道）、
御用番井上河内守（正岑）殿へ御書を差し出した
英語訳
I have read your letter. Regarding the succession, through a messenger you presented one ceremonial sword,
one horse, twenty bundles of formal paper, and also Magotarō's posthumous item,
the sword Enju Kuniyoshi. There was an appropriate occasion and
it was duly reported. The contents of both documents have been reviewed respectively.
Though brief, I respectfully state this.

Edo to inquire after [the shogun's] well-being, presenting one box of dried sea cucumbers. Hanzaemon departed from Fukui today
1. June 13th: Messenger Ariga Koemon (Masanobu) for gratitude regarding the return to the domain arrived in Edo (accompanied by caretaker Ōseki Shingozaemon),
presenting a letter to duty officer Lord Inoue Kawachi-no-kami (Masamine)
