昨二十三日江戸に着き、今日御用番井上河内守（正岑）殿のもとへ罷り出て御書を
差し出した
但し半左衛門は翌二十五日に御城へ罷り出て御献上物を納めた
一同日 端午の御祝儀御献上につき御内書が御城にて御渡しがあり、
御家来への拝領物等は例の通りであった
一六月二十六日 芦田右衛門（賢詮）が御家老職を仰せ付けられた
一六月二十七日 御用番井上河内守（正岑）殿より御留守居まで左の通り御切紙が来た

右の者、明二十八日に御目見を仰せ付けられるので五時に
御城へ差し出すべきである。また自分の御礼も
申し上げるべきであるから、その旨承知すべきである。以上

Yesterday, the 23rd, [the messenger] arrived in Edo, and today went to the duty officer Lord Inoue Kawachi-no-kami (Masamine) and submitted the letter.
However, Hanzaemon went to the castle on the following 25th and delivered the tribute items.
1. Same day: Regarding the tribute for the Boys' Festival celebration, an inner letter was delivered at the castle, and gifts to retainers followed the usual practice.
1. June 26th: Ashida Uemon (Kensen) was appointed to the position of chief retainer.
1. June 27th: The following official note came from duty officer Lord Inoue Kawachi-no-kami (Masamine) to the caretaker:

The above person is granted an audience tomorrow, the 28th, so should be sent to the castle at five o'clock.
Also, he should present his own formal greetings,
