御城へ罷り出て（御留守居大関新五左衛門同道で）御献上物を納め、小右衛門は御目見を仰せ付けられ、再び罷り出て自分の御礼を仰せ付けられ、御太刀銀馬代献上が相済み、御礼のため御老中若年寄中へ廻勤した
一七月三日 右同様に御使者有賀小右衛門（政庸）が御城へ罷り出たところ
（昨二日御用番より御留守居まで御切紙が来た）檜之間において御用番井上河内守（正岑）殿より御返書の御渡しがあり、その節小右衛門へ御時服三を拝領するよう仰せ付けられた
一七月六日 御生見玉の御祝儀を御使者を以て例の通り黄金を献上した
一八月朔日 御祝儀のため御使者を以て例の通り御太刀馬代を献上した
一八月三日 今度御判物御頂戴の節、御名代の儀について主税頭（知清）様へ御頼みになったので、御老中阿部豊後守（正喬）殿へ御使者として御留守居大関新五左衛門（直看）を以て御届けがあった
一八月十二日 運正寺において去る十日晩から今朝まで（二夜三日）探源院様七回御忌の御法事を御取越で執行し、天徳寺でも御茶湯を御執行した
一八月十三日 今度御判物御頂戴の節の名代の儀につき、御懸り御奏者番石川近江守（総茂）殿へ御留守居宮北十郎左衛門（定由）が左の通り

[Koemon] went to the castle (accompanied by caretaker Ōseki Shingorōzaemon) and delivered the tribute items. Koemon was granted an audience, then went again and was ordered to present his formal greetings. After completing the presentation of the ceremonial sword and silver horse substitute, he made rounds to the senior councilors and junior councilors to express gratitude.
1. July 3rd: Similarly, messenger Ariga Koemon (Masatsune) went to the castle.
(Yesterday, the 2nd, an official note came from the duty officer to the caretaker) In the Hinoki room, duty officer Lord Inoue Kawachi-no-kami (Masamine) delivered a reply letter, and at that time Koemon was ordered to receive three sets of seasonal court dress.
