茂》殿江被指出候処是迄御朱印
御頂戴之御方者御名代不相成候得共此度者先規ニ不
拘御頂戴之御方ニ而も御名代御勤御構無之段去廿日
被 仰出候ニ付中務大輔《割書：昌
平》様江御頼替ニ相成候ニ付近江守殿江

一八月二十三日 今度御判物御頂戴の節の御名代について主税頭（知清）様へ
御頼みの趣旨を先達て石川近江守（総茂）殿へ指し出したところ、これまで御朱印を
御頂戴の御方は御名代になれないけれども、この度は先例に
拘らず御頂戴の御方でも御名代御勤めに差し支えない旨、去る二十日に
仰せ出されたので、中務大輔（昌平）様へ御頼み替えになったため、近江守殿へ
新五左衛門が左の通り書付を持参して指し出した

1. August 21st: Since the construction of Zuigenji temple was completed,
Lord Tangenin's memorial tablet was transferred today from Hanazōji temple.
1. August 23rd: Regarding the proxy for this occasion of receiving the official document, Lord Chikara-no-kami (Tomokiyo) was
previously requested, and this matter was submitted to Lord Ishikawa Ōmi-no-kami (Fusashige). However, it was announced on the 20th that
while those who have received official seals cannot normally serve as proxies, on this occasion, regardless of precedent,
even those who have received [such honors] may serve as proxies without issue. Therefore, the request was changed to Lord Nakatsukas-Daibu (Masahira), and
Shingorōzaemon brought and submitted the following document to Lord Ōmi-no-kami:
