警固足軽又ハ番船廻り申付候事能候由何レ
之道ニも上り不申候様ニきひしく仕候事第
一之由
一御領分浦々異国船いかりを懸滞船之体相
見候時江戸表御屋敷江御注進被成様異国船
之注進在之時早速其所之郡代代官大目付
三人程之名付ニ而見分之上福井表江注進有
之筈候其状ニ御家老中添状被成爰許江被遣
事候右注進之書状案文別紙ニ在之候
一右御注進之飛脚早追ニ而被遣事
一右御注進之跡ニ帰帆之体ニ御座候ハヽ唐船壱
艘ニ送船二艘程拵御領分境迄見送り最早
帆影も見不申候時一時斗も其さかひに罷在
帰帆之趣早追ニ而御注進可被成事
此御注進之書状文言別紙ニ有之事
一帰帆有之迄ハ相替儀無之未帰帆之体
相見不申候由二日置或ハ三日置御注進被成事
一船数追々増候ハヽ其時々御注進被成事

警固の足軽または番船を巡回させることを申し付けるのが良いという。いずれの
道からも上陸させないよう厳しく取り締まることが第
一であるという。
一、御領分の浦々で異国船が錨をかけて停泊している様子が
見えた時は、江戸表の御屋敷へ御注進されるよう。異国船の
注進がある時は、早速その所の郡代・代官・大目付
三人ほどの名前を付けて見分の上、福井表へ注進が
あるはずである。その書状に御家老中が添状をされて、ここ許へ遣わされる
ことである。右の注進の書状案文は別紙にあるものである。
一、右の御注進の飛脚は早追いで遣わされること。
一、右の御注進の後に帰帆の様子であれば、唐船一
艘に送船二艘ほど用意して御領分境まで見送り、最早
帆影も見えなくなった時、一時ほどもその境に留まって
帰帆の趣を早追いで御注進されること。
この御注進の書状文言は別紙にあること。
一、帰帆するまでは変わった儀はなく、未だ帰帆の様子が
見えないという由を二日置きあるいは三日置きに御注進されること。
一、船数が追々増すようであれば、その時々に御注進されること。

It is advisable to dispatch security foot soldiers or patrol boats for surveillance. Strictly preventing them from landing by any route is of the utmost importance.
1. When foreign ships are observed anchoring and staying in the harbors within the domain, reports should be made to the lord's residence in Edo. When there are reports of foreign ships, the local district magistrate (gunday), deputy magistrate (daikan), and senior inspector (ōmetsuke) - about three officials by name - should immediately conduct an inspection and then report to Fukui. The senior councilors should attach a covering letter to that document and send it here. The draft text of the aforementioned report is provided in a separate document.
1. The courier for the aforementioned report should be dispatched by express delivery.
1. If it appears the ships are departing after the aforementioned report, prepare about two escort vessels for one Chinese ship and see them off to the domain border. When even their sail shadows can no longer be seen, remain at that border for about one hour, then report their departure by express delivery. The wording of this report is provided in a separate document.
1. Until their departure, if there are no unusual developments and they do not yet appear to be departing, reports should be made every two or three days.
1. If the number of ships gradually increases, reports should be made at each occurrence.
