孝》申渡之
御家中侍中并其以下ニ至る迄武芸相嗜
候事古今不珎候得共斗静謐之時節候得者
怠り安キ儀も可有之候向後他をかへりみす随
分情ニ入可為修行候別而親掛之面々隙ニ罷在
候間専稽古可有之候人々之嗜第一

看》罷出候処唐船抜荷之儀ニ付左之通御書付

一唐船持渡之諸色抜荷仕売買之者今以
不相止不届ニ候向後買元不慥疑敷品有之
候ハヽ不可相求於訴出者僉議之上其荷物
可被下尤抜買仕者有之候由沙汰承候共是又
可訴出縦同類たりといふとも其科をゆるし
現代語訳
御家老狛伊勢（澄孝）がこれを申し渡した
御家中の侍中並びにその以下に至るまで武芸を嗜むことは古今珍しいことではないが、ただ平和な時節であるので怠りがちになることもあるであろう。今後は他人を顧みず、随分と心を込めて修行すべきである。特に親掛かりの面々は暇に在るので、専ら稽古をすべきである。人々の嗜みは第一に上への奉公と思し召される旨が仰せ出されたので、面々はその旨を存ずべきである。以上

一、同日、御用番戸田山城守（忠真）殿より御呼び出しがあり、御留守居大関新五左衛門（直看）が罷り出たところ、唐船抜け荷の件について左の通り御書付を相渡された
覚
一、唐船が持ち渡った諸色の抜け荷をして売買する者が今以って止まず、不届きである。今後買い元が確かでなく疑わしい品があれば求めてはならない。訴え出る者については詮議の上、その荷物を下されるべきである。もっとも抜け買いをする者がいるという沙汰を承ったとしても、これまた訴え出るべきである。たとえ同類であっても、その科を許し

Chief Retainer Koma Ise (Sumitaka) issued the following proclamation:
Although it is not uncommon throughout history for samurai in the household and those below them to practice martial arts, since these are peaceful times, there may be a tendency toward negligence. Hereafter, without regard for others, one should practice with sincere dedication. Especially those who are direct retainers have leisure time, so they should concentrate on training. The devotion of the people should be considered first and foremost as service to their lord, as has been decreed. All should understand this meaning. The above.

One, on the same day, there was a summons from Duty Magistrate Toda Yamashiro-no-kami (Tadamasa), and when Caretaker Ōzeki Shingozaemon (Naomi) appeared, he was handed the following written notice regarding the matter of contraband from Chinese ships:
Memorandum
One, those who engage in buying and selling contraband goods brought by Chinese ships continue to this day, which is inexcusable. Hereafter, if there are items of uncertain or suspicious origin, they must not be purchased. For those who report such cases, after investigation, those goods shall be confiscated. Furthermore, even if one hears rumors of those engaging in contraband purchasing, this too should be reported. Even if they are accomplices, their crimes should be pardoned
