一、二月十五日、御使番大谷儀左衛門好澄をもって本多大蔵長教の喪中見舞いがあり、薯蕷一籠を下された
一、二月十六日、近江守直之様が御登城なされたところ、これまで御蔵米一万俵を下されていたところ、御筋目をお思い召しになり、地方にて一万石を下される旨を仰せ出された。これにつき右の御礼として御老中へ御使者御留守居を差し出された
一、二月十八日、御用番井上河内守正岑殿へ御会対のお勤めをされた

1. On the 15th day of the 2nd month, through messenger Ōtani Gizaemon Yoshizumi, there was an inquiry about Honda Ōkura Naganori during his mourning period, and one basket of yams was bestowed.

On the 16th day of the 2nd month, when Ōmi-no-kami Naoyuki made his castle attendance, whereas he had previously been granted 10,000 bales of rice from the storehouse, considering his lineage, it was announced that he would be granted 10,000 koku from his domain. For this, as gratitude, a messenger and caretaker were sent to the senior councillors.
1. On the 18th day of the 2nd month, [the lord] performed his duty of audience with the duty councillor Inoue Kawachi-no-kami Masamine.
1. On the 21st day of the 2nd month, regarding the year-end congratulatory offerings, an inner letter was handed over at the castle, and retainers' granted items were as usual.

1. On the 3rd day of the 3rd month, regarding the death of Seiujuin, the mother of Dewa-no-kami Nobuyuki, through messenger and caretaker Miyakita Jūrōzaemon Sadayoshi, the following notification document was submitted to duty councillor Abe Bungo-no-kami Masataka:
"The mother of Matsudaira Dewa-no-kami had been suffering from illness, but treatment was unsuccessful, and last night
