付日名ケ嶽之山形を書載可被差出候若日
名ケ嶽ハ三ケ村之村形ゟ隔り候而此絵図斗
ニ而難書記候ハヽ其元ニ而白紙を継足シ書載
現代語訳
御成の節、大名衆の下屋敷・抱屋敷等において御供の面々が若干したたみなどをした際に、料理の用意をも仕るように相聞こえる。火の元をはじめとして宜しくない儀であるから、料理の儀は勿論、茶・たばこでもたとえ所望されても出すことは堅く無用である。その趣旨を心得るべきである。以上
閏十月
一、十一月三日、善次郎（割書：直好）様へ近江守（割書：直之）様の御遺領（割書：越後糸魚川一万石）を無御相違被仰出された。右につき御礼のため御老中へ御使者として御留守居を指し出された。
一、十一月四日、御勘定奉行大久保下野守（割書：忠位）殿より申し来る。御留守居大関新五左衛門（割書：直看）が罷出たところ、雛ケ嶽の儀につき左の通り御書付を渡された。
越前国南条郡上中下平吹三ケ村の内、日名ケ嶽は右三ケ村の内でいずれの方にあるか。右の絵図一枚を差し越すので、この絵図をそちらで東西を付し、日名ケ嶽の山形を書き載せて差し出すべきである。もし日名ケ嶽は三ケ村の村形から隔たっており、この絵図のみでは書き記すことが困難であれば、そちらで白紙を継ぎ足して書き載せ

During official visits (onari), it has been heard that at the lower residences and subsidiary residences of the daimyo, meals are being prepared when the accompanying retainers engage in activities such as modest gatherings. This is inappropriate, particularly regarding fire safety, so not only meal preparation but even if tea or tobacco is requested, serving such items is strictly forbidden. Intercalary 10th month
1. On the 3rd day of the 11th month, to Zenjirō-sama (marginal note: Naoyoshi), the inherited domain (marginal note: Echigo Itoigawa, 10,000 koku) of Ōmi-no-kami-sama (marginal note: Naoyuki) was granted without alteration as proclaimed. For this, as gratitude, a deputy was sent as messenger to the rōjū (senior councillors).
1. On the 4th day of the 11th month, a message came from the finance magistrate Ōkubo Shimōsa-no-kami (marginal note: Tadakura). When the deputy Ōzeki Shingozaemon (marginal note: Naomi) appeared, regarding the matter of Hinaga Peak, the following written notice was given:

One map is being sent, so please mark east and west on this map, draw the shape of Hinaga Peak, and submit it. If Hinaga Peak is separated from the village boundaries of the three villages and cannot be recorded on this map alone, then add white paper there and record it
