Regarding Religious Sect Investigation
Concerning the Sekke (regent families), Imperial Princes, various monzeki (aristocratic temple abbots),
Bikuni temples and retainers of various houses,
As well as other officials and their people,
We have investigated the religious sects of all the above-mentioned individuals, including farmers and retired persons in their domains, both men and women.
We found no adherents to the Christian sect and have received certificates to this effect from both parties.
We hereby submit this for your notification. The above.
