此方 唯授（ゆいじゆ）一人の秘伝（ひでん）にして。
其 効（しるし）神（しん）のごとし。疱瘡（ほうそう）せざる
児女（しぢよ）。此方を教（をしへ）の如（ごと）くすれば。
疱瘡（ほうさう）甚かろし。おほくの方（ほう）
術（じゆつ）の中に。殊（こと）にすぐれて験（しるし）
あり。慎（つゝしみ）て法（ほう）のごとくすべし

この方法は唯一人だけに授ける秘伝であって、その効果は神のようである。天然痘にかかっていない子女が、この方法を教えの通りに行えば、天然痘が非常に軽くなる。多くの方術の中でも、特に優れて効験がある。慎んで法の通りに行うべきである。
