【右丁】
一 禁厭（ましない）の方（みち）。神業（かみわさ）にして。
浅（あさ）□かなる事にあらず。
といへども。売僧（まいす）はとのかい
等がいふ所はしるさず。その
所伝（しよでん）の正しきを撰（ゑらひ）て記（しる）す
一 禁厭（ましない）しるしあり。医薬（いやく）を
用ゆべからずと。いふには
あらず。彼（かの）符水（ふすい）をあたへ。
医薬（いやく）を制（せいし）て。己が功（こう）を顕
はす邪義（じやぎ）を用る事なかれ

一 禁厭（ましない）医薬（いやく）を用るといへ
とも。家内（かない）に汚穢（けかれ）不浄（ふじやう）
あれば。軽（かろ）きも重（おも）きに
変ず。此故に終（をわり）に戒（いましめ）慎（つゝしみ）の
品を。医書（いしよ）によりゑらひ
出してしるす

現代語訳
【右丁】
一、禁厭（まじない）の方法は神の業であって、浅はかなことではない。とはいえ、売僧や法師などが言うところは記さない。その所伝の正しいものを選んで記す。
一、禁厭（まじない）に効果があるからといって、医薬を用いてはならないと言うのではない。あの符水を与えて医薬を禁じ、自分の功績を顕そうとする邪悪な考えを用いてはならない。
《割書：巫女を信じて医者を信じないという非難を免れることは難しい》
【左丁】
一、禁厭（まじない）や医薬を用いるといっても、家内に汚れや不浄があれば、軽い病気も重い病気に変わる。この故に最後に戒めと慎みの項目を、医書によって選び出して記す。

1. Just because kinyen shows effectiveness does not mean that medicine should not be used. Do not employ the evil doctrine of giving talismanic water while prohibiting medicine in order to display one's own achievements.
