らざる心がけ第一なり。かくの
ごとく如法（によほう）に教（をしへ）の如くだにま
じなへば。千人に一人も怪我（けが）
なし。秘中（ひちう）の秘（ひ）なり。近き比世（よ）

馬（むま）の沓（くつ）新（あた）らしきを。男子（なんし）は
左￣リ。女子（によし）は右の足（あし）にはかせ。鼻緒（はなを）
の余（あまり）り【衍】を。其家（そのいへ）より五町程へだ

てし。川へ流（なが）し。右の沓（くつ）は雨（あめ）
露（つゆ）かゝらざる所へかけ置。疱瘡（ほうそう）
仕廻（しまい）候迄置く也。つゝがなく疱
瘡いへて後（のち）。件の沓（くつ）は五尺程地
を堀（ほり）。埋（むめ）候何やうの疱瘡（ほうさう）にても
さはりなく目出度 仕舞（しまい）候事う
たがひなし。奇妙（きめう）の方也。猥（みた）￣リ に
不信（ふしん）の人に教（をし）ゆべからす

【右丁】
ということを心がけることが第一である。このように如法に教えの通りにまじないを行えば、千人に一人も怪我をすることはない。秘中の秘である。近頃世の人でこの方法を用いて効験がなしと言う人があるのは、必ず法の通りに行わないからである。慎んで疑うことをしてはならない。

馬の沓で新しいものを、男子は左足に、女子は右足に履かせ、鼻緒の余りを、その家より五町ほど離れた

川へ流し、右の沓は雨露がかからない所へかけ置き、疱瘡が終わるまで置いておく。つつがなく疱瘡が治った後、件の沓は五尺ほど地面を掘って埋める。どのような疱瘡でも差し障りなく無事に終わることは疑いなし。奇妙な方法である。みだりに不信の人に教えてはならない。
右の方法は所伝の書の通り、一字も違わずに記し置いたものである。
