煎（せん）じて小児を洗浴（せんよく）すべし。
洗て後（のち）。しはらくして清き湯に
て洗ふべし。初（はし）め洗ふ時。な
まぐさきをいとふ事なく身の中
残る所なく洗ふべし。若（もし）うた
がはしく思ふ人は。手足の内一所
のこして洗ふべし。あらはざる所
必ず痘瘡（はうさう）出る也。但￣シ はもと
いふ魚（うを）。関東には稀（まれ）也。あらかじ
め乾（ほし）たるを求（もと）め置て可也
○又方あしき疱瘡を治す

一 萆薢（ひかい）《割書：五分》
右二味 常（つね）のごとく煎（せん）じ
用ゆる時に至（いた）りて。上々の
金 箔（はく）三枚入て用ゆべし。
いかよふの悪（あし）き疱（ほう）瘡も立（たて）な
をし快（こゝろよく）なる事神妙の寿方也

現代語訳
【右丁】
煎じて小児を洗浴させるべし。洗った後、しばらくしてから清い湯で洗うべし。初めに洗う時、生臭さを嫌がることなく身体の中で残る所なく洗うべし。もし疑わしく思う人は、手足の内一箇所を残して洗うべし。洗わない所には必ず天然痘が出る。ただしハモという魚は関東には稀である。あらかじめ乾燥させたものを求めて置いておくとよい。
○また別の方法で悪い疱瘡を治す

一 橘《割書：干したものを五分》ただし橘皮でもよい
一 萆薢《割書：五分》
右二味を通常のごとく煎じ、用いる時になって、上等の金箔三枚を入れて用いるべし。いかなる悪い疱瘡でも立て直し快復させることは神妙な妙方である。

一 柳の枝《割書：流れ川に近いものを五寸》
一 紅花《割書：一両》 一 桑の枝《割書：五寸》
