凡例
一此 篇（へん）は古人 深（ふか）く秘（ひ）して。
唯受（ゆいしゆ）一人と称（しやう）し。千金 莫伝（はくでん）
と号（かう）し。猥（みだ）りに教（をし）へ授（さつけ）ざりし
ものあれども。世人の為に
悉（こと〳〵）く顕（あらは）す。全（まつた）く利養（りよう）の
計（はかり）ことにあらねば。我（われ）を
にくみ恨（うら）みつべしとも
思ひはからず。彼（かの）一 休（きう）の喉（こう）
痺（ひ）の薬（くすり）の旧事（ふること）思ひ合
すべし。

知（しり）たる方一二 種（しゆ）あり。其（その）効（こう）
甚しき良方なるゆえに。
洩（もら）す事あたはず。誰（たれ）【唯は誤】も知

一凡篇中の薬方。田舎（いなか）にて
も求（もと）め易（やす）きものをしるす。

凡例
一、この篇は古人が深く秘蔵して、「ただ一人のみに受け継がせる」と称し、「千金を積んでも伝授しない」と号して、みだりに教え授けなかったものもあるが、世の人のためにすべてを明かす。まったく金銭的利益を目的としているわけではないので、私を憎み恨むであろうとは思い計らない。あの一休和尚の喉の痺れの薬の古い話を思い合わせるべきである。

一、篇中には諸書に出ていて、世の人が知っている処方が一、二種ある。その効果が非常に優れた良方であるゆえに、省くことができない。誰もが知っている処方だといって軽んじ嘲ることがあってはならない。
一、およそ篇中の薬方は、田舎でも求めやすいものを記す。また神効の良方といっても、一般人が製造しにくいものはすべて省いた。

General Rules
1. This volume contains secrets that the ancients kept deeply hidden, calling them "to be transmitted to only one person" and "not to be taught even for a thousand pieces of gold," which they would not carelessly teach or bestow upon others. However, for the sake of the people of the world, I reveal everything completely. Since this is not at all for the purpose of profit, I do not consider that people will hate and resent me. One should recall the old story of Ikkyū's medicine for throat paralysis.

1. In this volume, there are one or two types of remedies that appear in various books and are known to people of the world. Because these are excellent remedies with remarkable effects, they cannot be omitted. Do not look down upon or mock them, saying they are remedies that everyone knows.
1. Generally, the medicinal formulas in this volume record those that can be easily obtained even in the countryside. Moreover, although they are called divinely effective good remedies, those that are difficult for ordinary people to prepare have all been omitted.
