現代語訳
一族一同の願いの通り養子に仰せ付けられ、高二十二俵二人扶持を下賜され、格式として御供番・御給仕方を仰せ付けられた。かつ、これまで儒学に心掛けていた趣も相聞こえるため、なお一層油断なく励み、将来御用に立つよう出精すべきである。
一 同三年辛戌年九月十五日以来、御供方へも出仕するよう通達があった。同日、この度若殿様の御乗出につき御供打込勤を仰せ付けられ、これにより御手当として金二両三分を下賜された。

As requested by the family clan, was appointed as adopted son and granted a stipend of 22 hyō and provisions for two retainers, with appointment to the positions of gokūban (lord's attendant) and gokyūjigata (service attendant). Furthermore, as it was heard that he had been devoted to Confucian studies, he was instructed to continue his efforts without negligence and to work diligently so as to be useful for official duties in the future.
1. From the 15th day of the 9th month of the same 3rd year, year of the metal dog (1851), was notified to also report to the gokūkata (lord's attendant department). On the same day, due to the young lord's outing, was appointed to intensive escort duty, and for this service was granted a monetary allowance of 2 ryō and 3 bu.
