一 逆罪の者の仕置の事

一 生き物に傷を付けるか、傷害を加えた者の仕置の事
右の科人がある場合は、吟味・評議を遂げて、一家中までのことで外へ差し障りがなければ、今後は江戸への伺いは不要で、江戸の御仕置に準じて自分で仕置を申し付けることができる。ただし他所と関わる場合は、月番老中まで伺いを立てること。遠島に申し付けるべき科人について、領内に島がない場合は、永牢または親類縁者等へ厳重に預け置くこと。（割書：また生類憐れみの儀は、兼々仰せ出されている通り、いよいよ堅く相守り、入念に申し付けるべきである。丑六月）
一 寛保三年（亥年）閏四月十三日、御様子の節、月番にて下山彦三が出役した。
一 寛政九年（丁巳年）三月五日、御腰物御様子を仰せ付けられる節の取り扱いは左の通り。月番江口源左衛門が出役、堤安右衛門も出役。
一 三月二日、御用人月番宇都宮弥三郎が同役月番源左衛門へ申し聞かせたのは、来る五日に御仕置があり、その節御腰物御様子を仰せ付けられるので、前々の通り取り扱うよう申し聞かせた。これについて出役同役が相談した事。
ただし右御用人から申し聞かされたが、御中老中からの申し聞かせもあるだろう。一体御道具御様子を仰せ付けられる取り扱いの儀は御中老によるとのこと。
一 御腰物奉行から御道具御様子を仰せ付けられた段を申し聞かされたため、御徒目付一人を出役させるよう申し付けた。
一 安右衛門が出役したため、御腰物奉行へ懸け合い、御道具書付を回すよう申し聞かせたところ、なお又御様子があり、胴付きをして差し出すべき旨を高畠季八郎が申し聞かせた。待合所を尋ねたため、三ツ橋法興寺へ六時に向かう段を挨拶した。
御腰物奉行をはじめ下代等まで御職人ども方まで向かっている段を申し聞かせた。
一 同四日、月番から明五日に組の者を前々の通り差し出すよう組小頭へ申し付けた。固め十七人の儀もあるが、近格十二人を差し出すため、その通り申し付けた。
一 同五日、御道具御様子があり、出役は左の通り

When there are criminals of the above types, after conducting investigation and deliberation, if the matter concerns only the retainer group and does not affect outsiders, henceforth there is no need to seek approval from Edo, and punishment may be ordered independently following Edo's punishment practices. However, if other domains are involved, approval must be sought from the monthly duty senior councilor. For criminals who should be sentenced to remote island exile, if there are no islands within the domain, they shall be sentenced to life imprisonment or placed under strict custody of relatives or connections. 1. Kanpo 3 (Year of the Boar), intercalary 4th month, 13th day: During a sword inspection ceremony, Shimoyama Hikoza served monthly duty.
1. Kansei 9 (Hinoto-Mi year), 3rd month, 5th day: The handling when a sword inspection ceremony was ordered was as follows. Monthly duty Eguchi Genzaemon served, and Tsutsumi Yasuemon also served.
1. 3rd month, 2nd day: Monthly duty magistrate Utsunomiya Yasaburo informed co-duty monthly officer Genzaemon that there would be punishment on the coming 5th day, and at that time a sword inspection ceremony would be ordered, so it should be handled as before. The duty officers consulted about this matter.
However, although informed by the magistrate, there would likely also be instructions from the middle senior councilors. Generally, the handling of weapon inspection ceremonies is under the jurisdiction of the middle senior councilors.
1. The sword magistrate informed that a weapon inspection ceremony had been ordered, so one foot inspector was ordered to serve.
1. Since Yasuemon was serving, he consulted with the sword magistrate and requested that the weapon documentation be circulated. Then Takahata Kihachiro informed that there would be further inspection with body armor to be presented. 1. After 6 o'clock, when Yasuemon went to Mitsuhashi Hokokoji Temple, the foot inspector informed that the punishment had been completed. There was notice to the temple that the sword magistrate had just arrived, so Yasuemon went afterward.
1. Since Yasuemon served at the location, his attire was field hakama, field haori, and dark blue tabi. The retainers wore momohiki, happi, and fire hats.
