一侍中闕所被仰付候節御使番壱人御勘定奉行壱人《割書：以前ハ
両人之由》罷越改書付ハ御目付受取奉

出来残銀差引去子七月相顕候ニ付林右衛門入牢被仰付置今日御普請奉行初掛り合夫々
御咎被仰付右林右衛門忰南部安次事今日一家共へ御預之上跡闕所被仰付候事

一、侍中が闕所を仰せ付けられる際は、御使番1人、御勘定奉行1人《割書：以前は両人であったとのこと》が出向いて改めを行い、書付は御目付が受け取って奉行中へこちらから相渡すとのこと
【朱書き】相改めの帳面に御勘定奉行のみが印形をして御目付へ持参する予定、御目付が受け取ってから御家老中へ入れて披見する事

一、寛政5年丑年2月25日、御普請方元下代南部林右衛門が引き負けた芝原上水口酉年御普請の出来残り銀の差し引きが去る子7月に相顕れたことにより、林右衛門入牢を仰せ付け置き、今日御普請奉行をはじめ掛かり合いそれぞれに御咎めを仰せ付けられ、右林右衛門の息子南部安次のことは今日一家共へ御預けの上、跡闕所を仰せ付けられた事

Confiscation (Kessho)
1. When confiscation is ordered for samurai retainers, one messenger (ometsukaiban) and one accounting magistrate (okanjō-bugyō) [marginal note: previously it was two people] go to conduct the inspection, and the written report is received by the inspector (ometsuke) and handed over to the magistrates from our side.
[Red notation] The inspection ledger is to be stamped only by the accounting magistrate and brought to the inspector, who receives it and submits it to the senior councilors for review.
However, one foot inspector (oashi-metsuke) and two group members are to be sent along.

1. When Nakazawa Monzaemon of the conch shell role was subject to confiscation, one messenger, two (or one) accounting heads, and one foot inspector were sent, with lookout group members attached.

Kansei 5, year of the ox, 2nd month, 25th day: The remaining silver from the Shibahara upper water gate construction project of the year of the rooster, which former deputy construction officer Nanbu Rinemon had defaulted on, came to light in the 7th month of last year of the rat.
