遠見を差し越す様、御用番酒井刑部方より申し聞かされ、同夜五つ半時過ぎに上方へ罷り越し、遠見組の者を板取まで遣わした由、月番大谷儀左衛門。
一、同十五戌年、御坊主共の御家督の御祝儀で御料理を下し置かれた節、小算の者へ通いをしなかった
につき御扶持を放たれた節、御目付立会いの儀を御家老中が申し聞かされたにつき、先格の趣を申したけれども、上より仰せ付けられた
趣で立会った留めがある。但し六月十六日、同二十四日、七月二十四日、二十五日と連々留めがある。
一、元文三午年十一月二十九日、御小姓目付高間文左衛門の御扶持を放たれた節、御小姓支配水谷
弥三郎が申し渡し、御目付共が立会い、御構書に印形をなし、宅へ組の者を付けて遣わし、遠見組の者を遣わした。
一、寛延四未年、御徒岩佐五郎太夫の不届につき御扶持を召し放たれた。評定の次の席において御徒頭高田
金太夫が申し渡し、御目付が立会い、帰宅の節に遠見組の者を遣わし、同夜細呂木まで組の者二人を遣わした。
一、宝暦八寅年九月二十二日、川除方甲斐利作御暇、同人弟清八郎が宜しからぬ者につき一緒に立ち
退く様御奉行へ申し渡し、清八郎の儀は小役人の弟につきその段を利作へ申し渡す様に御奉行共へ申し
渡す様に御目付月番榊原助左衛門へ仰せ付けられたにつき、御奉行月番加藤長右衛門へ助左衛門が申し聞かせた。
一、文化八未年七月、瓦方下代増田惣右衛門と申す者、御扶持を召し放たれ御城下追放を仰せ付けられた節、
御奉行支配の者故御目付組を差し出さず、御長柄の者が見届のため罷り越し、相違無い趣を御奉
行より達しがあった。
一、享保九辰年、雑用役野沢九太夫牢舎、同十五戌六月十五日御入部御家督御祝儀大
赦につき命御助、御城下五里四方御追放、他国へは罷り出でない筈、公領他領御預所居住致し
間敷旨、町奉行宅で御奉行立会い申し渡し、御目付は少しも構わず。尤も最初より御目付掛かり合い無し。
右午四月二十七日三国立入居住御免、今度御城下五里四方御追放御免。
一、右同節、下代佐藤市左衛門も追放。但し他国へ罷り出た。
一、御徒桑野兵助御暇を下された儀は別の御改易、御暇の部に出ている。
一、宝暦十一巳年、奉行組札所組御扶持を放たれた事は諸事留めにある。

組の者を差し出さず、木工方家来を御国境まで見届に差し越された段を名代を以て相達され、相替わりの儀も無
ければ最早別段見届の上相達し申すべからざる旨、月番田辺五太夫へ達しがあった事。
一、弘化二巳八月、御家老中御評議の上、小役人以下賞罰御取扱いを相定めるヶ条の内、
一、小役人御徒小算格右格合の者の追放並びに御城下立退等の節、見届のため組の者一人を
差し越すべき事。尤も前々は御長柄の者を御奉行より差し越した由であるけれども、近来右の通りであるので御
評議の事。なお全文は小役人以下御引立の部に出ている。
組の者御咎の条に入れるべし。
一、文化九申五月、堀十兵衛組河野又三郎、頭存じを以て御扶持召し放ち御城下立退の事は組の者御咎の条に出ている。

The watch group was dispatched as instructed by duty officer Sakai Gyōbu's office. That same night, after half past the fifth hour, they went to the upper region, and watch group members were sent as far as Itadori, according to monthly duty officer Ōtani Gizaemon.
1. In the same 15th year of Kyōhō (Year of the Dog), when the monk retainers were provided with celebratory meals for the succession ceremony, but failed to attend to the minor officials, their stipends were revoked. When the senior councilors inquired about inspector attendance at this occasion, although precedent was cited, attendance was required as ordered from above. Records exist for the 16th and 24th of the 6th month, and the 24th and 25th of the 7th month consecutively.
1. On the 29th day of the 11th month of Genbun 3 (Year of the Horse), when page inspector Takama Bunzaemon's stipend was revoked, page supervisor Mizutani Yasaburō announced the decision with inspectors in attendance. A seal was affixed to the banishment document, group members were assigned to escort him home, and watch group members were dispatched.
1. In Kan'en 4 (Year of the Sheep), due to foot soldier Iwasa Gorōdayū's misconduct, his stipend was revoked. At the council session, foot soldier commander Takada Kintadayū announced the decision with inspectors in attendance. When he returned home, watch group members were dispatched, and that same night, two group members were sent as far as Hosogi.
1. On the 22nd day of the 9th month of Hōreki 8 (Year of the Tiger), Kai Risaku of the river engineering department was dismissed. Since his brother Seihachirō was also an undesirable person, they were ordered to leave together. The matter was communicated to the magistrates, and since Seihachirō was a minor official's brother, monthly duty inspector Sakakibara Sukezaemon was ordered to instruct the magistrates to inform Risaku of this. Sukezaemon communicated this to monthly duty magistrate Katō Chōuemon.
1. In the 7th month of Bunka 8 (Year of the Sheep), when tile department deputy Masuda Sōuemon had his stipend revoked and was banished from the castle town, since he was under magistrate supervision, no inspector group was dispatched. Instead, halberd bearers were sent to witness, and the magistrate confirmed there were no irregularities.
1. In Kyōhō 9 (Year of the Dragon), miscellaneous duties official Nozawa Kyūdayū was imprisoned. In Kyōhō 15 (Year of the Dog), on the 15th day of the 6th month, due to the general amnesty for the lord's succession celebration, his life was spared and he was banished from within five ri of the castle town. He was not to travel to other provinces and was forbidden to reside in public lands, other domains, or custodial territories.
This was announced at the town magistrate's residence with the magistrate in attendance. The inspectors had no involvement whatsoever, as they had no jurisdiction from the beginning.
On the 27th day of the 4th month of the same year, permission was granted to reside in Mikuni, and now the banishment from within five ri of the castle town has been lifted.
1. At the same time, deputy Satō Ichizaemon was also banished, but he did travel to other provinces.

1. In Hōreki 12 (Year of the Horse), 6th month, the revocation of stipends for Takahashi Sōzaemon of magistrate Senbon Chōuemon's group and those in advance guard Yano Denzaemon's group is recorded in the general records.

1. On the 5th day of the 12th month of Hōreki 4 (Year of the Dog), when yoriki were ordered to show restraint while group leaders were aware of the situation, there is a record stating that related individuals need not inquire about showing restraint.

In Tenpō 13 (Year of the Tiger), 5th month, when Yuasa Jinzaemon's older brother Jūrō, a yoriki under Koma Mokku, was ordered to be banished from the domain, no watch group members were dispatched. Instead, Mokku's retainers were sent to escort him to the domain border, and this was communicated through a representative. If there were no changes to report, no further communication would be made after the final verification, as communicated to monthly duty officer Tanabe Gotadayū.
1. In Kōka 2 (Year of the Snake), 8th month, following deliberations by the senior councilors, among the articles established for handling rewards and punishments for minor officials and below:
1. For minor officials, foot soldiers, and those of equivalent small stipend rank, when banished or ordered to leave the castle town, one group member shall be dispatched for verification. Previously, halberd bearers were dispatched by the magistrates, but recently this practice has changed, hence this deliberation. 1. In Bunka 9 (Year of the Monkey), 5th month, regarding Kōno Matasaburō of Hori Jūbei's group, whose stipend was revoked and who was ordered to leave the castle town with the group leader's knowledge, this appears in the section on punishments of group members.
1. On the 13th day of the 9th month of Bunka 5 (Year of the Dragon), when Okabe Ichiemon communicated as follows and this was reported to the senior councilors, they ordered that it be handled at one's discretion.
