奉公之儀も指留候段頭申聞候事
一文化二丑閏八月廿九日東郷吉蔵申聞候ハ拙者組杉本喜三郎と申者心得違之儀有之先達而より
押込置候処其後も心得違之儀有之不届ニ付御扶持召放候且又同人養父作右衛門与申者右同様之趣ニ付
押込差置候処其後相改候様子も無之ニ付組町立退申付候右作右衛門妻儀も先達而ゟ組町立入差留
候処猶又以後立入不申様断申聞候
一文化九申五月左之通相達候ニ付其段御家老中へ相達候処伺之通可申付旨被申聞候ニ付其段十兵衛へ申

私組河野又三郎と申者不届之筋御座候ニ付御扶持召放御城下立退申付度奉存候此段宜御取

一享和元酉五月廿一日今村伝兵衛組中嶋浅右衛門与申者家内不和順之儀ニ付心得方不宜相聞候ニ付養
母始伝兵衛存を以押込申付候事
一同年七月十五日下山清左衛門組渡辺多四郎と申者江戸表霊岸嶋御屋敷八幡口当番之処
不念之儀有之押込被差置旨申来其段清左衛門へ申達之
一文化二丑八月十六日横田作太夫組大久保利太夫不宜儀有之押込被仰付并江波茂八郎与申者離
縁之妻急度為相慎置候様被仰付候処梶川半兵衛組大久保弥助与申者為ニ実父并姉ニ而奉恐入候
依之慎罷在度旨相願同居之者ニも有之候間願之通相慎罷在候様申付候段半兵衛申聞候事
一諸組之者御咎被仰付候節ハ御用番を以御目付月番へ被仰出候間其頭々月番宅へ召呼申達之筈
御免之節も同様月番へ被仰出候ニ付是ハ以手紙頭々江申達之筈
但御城代組之儀ハ前後共与力呼出し申達之
一諸組之者頭存を以御扶持召放候後跡自分抱願之儀諸組之部ニ出之
一諸組之者出奔候処召連帰御扶持被召放或ハ頭存を以御扶持召放跡自分抱願右同部ニ出之
一文政三辰二月五日跡部主計組土田市郎兵衛不埒之儀有之其段御家老中へ相達立替被仰付候段月番鈴木十左衛門宅へ主計相
招演説ニ而申達跡之儀自分抱ニ被仰付候段も申達ス右ハ御目付ゟ移りを以被仰付候儀故御用書無之頭遠慮伺之儀ハ伺之条可見合

現代語訳
奉公の儀も指し止めた段、頭が申し聞いた事
一、文化二丑閏八月二十九日、東郷吉蔵が申し聞いたのは、拙者組の杉本喜三郎と申す者に心得違いの儀があり、先達てより
押込み置いたところ、その後も心得違いの儀があり不届きにつき御扶持召し放った。且つまた同人の養父作右衛門と申す者も右同様の趣きにつき
押込み差し置いたところ、その後改まった様子もないため組町立ち退きを申し付けた。右作右衛門の妻の儀も先達てから組町立ち入りを差し止め
たところ、なお以後立ち入らぬよう断りを申し聞いた
一、文化九申五月、左の通り相達したところ、その段を御家老中へ相達したところ、伺いの通り申し付けるべき旨申し聞かれたため、その段を十兵衛へ申し
達した
私の組の河野又三郎と申す者、不届きの筋がございましたため、御扶持召し放ち御城下立ち退きを申し付けたく存じます。この段よろしくお取り
扱い下されるべく候。以上 五月 村田十太夫様 堀十兵衛
一、享和元酉五月二十一日、今村伝兵衛組中嶋浅右衛門と申す者、家内不和順の儀につき心得方が宜しくないと相聞えたため、養
母をはじめ伝兵衛の存念をもって押込みを申し付けた事
一、同年七月十五日、下山清左衛門組渡辺多四郎と申す者、江戸表霊岸島御屋敷八幡口当番のところ
不念の儀があり押込みを差し置いた旨申し来たり、その段を清左衛門へ申し達した
一、文化二丑八月十六日、横田作太夫組大久保利太夫に宜しくない儀があり押込み仰せ付けられ、並びに江波茂八郎と申す者の離
縁の妻を急度慎みのため相慎み置くよう仰せ付けられたところ、梶川半兵衛組大久保弥助と申す者のために実父並びに姉にて恐れ入り奉る。
これにより慎み罷り在りたき旨相願い、同居の者にもあることから願いの通り慎み罷り在るよう申し付けた段、半兵衛が申し聞いた事
一、諸組の者御咎め仰せ付けられる節は御用番をもって御目付月番へ仰せ出されるため、その頭々を月番宅へ召し呼び申し達す筈。
御免の節も同様月番へ仰せ出されるため、これは手紙をもって頭々江申し達す筈
但し御城代組の儀は前後共与力を呼び出し申し達す
一、諸組の者、頭の存念をもって御扶持召し放った後、跡を自分抱えに願う儀は諸組の部に出す
一、諸組の者が出奔したところを召し連れ帰り御扶持召し放たれ、或いは頭の存念をもって御扶持召し放ち、跡を自分抱えに願う右同部に出す
一、文政三辰二月五日、跡部主計組土田市郎兵衛に不埒の儀があり、その段を御家老中へ相達し立替え仰せ付けられた段、月番鈴木十左衛門宅へ主計を相
招き演説にて申し達し、跡の儀を自分抱えに仰せ付けられた段も申し達す。右は御目付からの移りをもって仰せ付けられた儀故、御用書無し。頭の遠慮伺いの儀は伺いの条を見合わすべし
一、文化元子五月十三日

1. Bunka 2 (Year of the Ox), intercalary 8th month, 29th day: Tōgō Kichizō reported that his group member Sugimoto Kisaburō had committed misconduct, and having been confined since earlier,
subsequently committed further misconduct. Due to this impropriety, his stipend was revoked. Moreover, his adoptive father Sakuemon committed similar offenses and was
confined, but showing no signs of reform thereafter, he was ordered to leave the group quarter. Sakuemon's wife was also previously barred from entering the group quarter,
and she was further instructed not to enter in the future.
1. Bunka 9 (Year of the Monkey), 5th month: The following was communicated, and when reported to the senior councilors, they replied that it should be carried out as petitioned, so this was conveyed
to Jūbee:
My group member Kawano Matazaburō has committed impropriety, so I wish to revoke his stipend and order him to leave the castle town. Please handle this matter appropriately. Respectfully, 5th month To Murata Jūtayū-sama Hori Jūbee
1. Kyōwa 1 (Year of the Rooster), 5th month, 21st day: Imamura Denbee's group member Nakashima Asaemon's household conduct was disharmonious and his attitude was reported as improper, so
his adoptive mother and Denbee ordered his confinement based on their judgment.
1. Same year, 7th month, 15th day: Shimoyama Seizaemon's group member Watanabe Tashirō was on guard duty at Reiganjima residence, Hachiman gate in Edo
when he committed negligence and was confined. This was reported and conveyed to Seizaemon.
1. Bunka 2 (Year of the Ox), 8th month, 16th day: Yokota Sakutayū's group member Ōkubo Ritayū committed impropriety and was ordered confined, and Enami Mohachirō's divorced
wife was ordered to be strictly confined. However, Kajikawa Hanbee's group member Ōkubo Yasuke, being her actual father and older sister, humbly requested
to be allowed to exercise restraint themselves. Since they were also cohabitants, they were ordered to exercise restraint as petitioned, as reported by Hanbee.
1. When members of various groups are ordered punished, this is announced to the monthly inspector through the duty officer, so the respective heads are summoned to the monthly officer's residence for notification.
When pardoned, it is similarly announced to the monthly officer, but this is communicated to the heads by letter.
However, for castle deputy groups, both before and after, assistants are summoned for notification.

his residence and conveyed this through explanation, also conveying that personal employment was ordered for the successor. Since this was ordered through transfer from the inspector, there was no official document. Regarding the head's restraint inquiry, the inquiry provisions should be consulted.
