一嘉永四亥ノ四月御家老中江伺之上御指図同月六日江戸表へ申遣ス左之通
一組之者御咎立替以上ハ本頭仮頭江戸御国双方ニ而伺差出可申事
一於御国諸物頭其同役之組之者を仮預り中押込被仰付候得者手組同様伺指出可申事
但於江戸本頭ハ伺指出ニ不及併本頭出立以前之不調法ニ而於御国押込被仰付候得者於江戸本頭斗伺指出
可申筈組之者出立以前之不調法ニ而於江戸押込被仰付候へハ御国ニ罷在候本頭伺指出可申事
一於江戸手組之外同役之組并支配之者立替被仰付候とも伺不及指出候事
但御門払以上重き御咎等被仰付候得者伺指出可申筈忍之者支配頭并御供頭等支配之者立替被

一、嘉永四年亥の四月、御家老中へ伺いの上御指図により、同月六日江戸表へ申し遣わす。左の通り
一、組の者が御咎めを受け立て替わりになる場合は、本頭・仮頭が江戸・御国双方において伺いを差し出すべき事
一、御国において諸物頭その同役の組の者を仮預かり中に押込みを仰せ付けられた場合は、手組同様に伺いを差し出すべき事
但し江戸においては本頭は伺いを差し出すに及ばず。併せて本頭出立以前の不調法にて御国において押込みを仰せ付けられた場合は、江戸において本頭のみ伺いを差し出す
べき筈。組の者の出立以前の不調法にて江戸において押込みを仰せ付けられた場合は、御国に罷り在る本頭が伺いを差し出すべき事

1. Kaei 4 (Year of the Boar), 4th month: After consulting with the senior councilors and receiving instructions, the following was sent to Edo on the 6th of the same month:
1. When group members are disciplined and require substitution, both the main head (honzu) and acting head (karigatashira) must submit inquiries from both Edo and the domain
1. When various unit commanders in the domain temporarily take custody of colleagues' group members who are ordered confined, inquiries must be submitted as with one's own group
However, main heads in Edo need not submit inquiries. But if confinement is ordered in the domain for misconduct before the main head's departure, only the main head in Edo must submit an inquiry.
