につき出役宿の郁顕が予の社中にて諸道具を請け取り、諸事例の如く相済んだ。故障の人両人あり、炊桶と小鉢一つに、当月行事のみくじ差し予小鉢充て、残り銀一人分金二朱に銭三百六十文ずつ配当した。米が高値につきこのような未曾有の事である。
十四日辛酉晴れ 葵御祭である。経千が転供称宜方第二臈である。経啓が始めて代勤を務めた。供雑色一人、白丁二人例の如し。巳の半刻ほど三番太鼓を打ち、直様に出仕して衣冠単を着用し例の如く葵と桂を挿した。申の下刻に滞りなく相済み退下した。珍重々々。○早朝神酒献進例年の如くである。○未刻過ぎ近衛使滋野井中将殿、伝奏清水谷殿、奉行甘露寺殿、内蔵使芝山城使、難波以下諸司が参向した。予は難波休所へ見舞いのため申し候い罷り越し、鯖と飛魚二喉を送った。○堀川左衛門大志、同寿光院親族小林順吉等が入来し、酒飯を出した。ただし大志は初めて入来である。

14th day, 辛酉, Clear - The Aoi Festival. Kyōsen served as the second-ranking official in charge of rotating offerings. Kyōkei performed substitute duty for the first time. One attendant and two white-robed servants as usual. Around the middle of the hour of the Snake, the third drum was beaten, and [we] immediately went on duty wearing court dress and plain robes as usual, inserting aoi (hollyhock) and katsura (laurel).
