不参也経千清魚両人當年より之催方被兼頼令領掌也経子

堀川左衛門大志両人より為祝義女扇子弐本入箱紅絹壱反

被相招新庄伊豫掾篠田上総掾福西大隅目等罷出其余
不参予常服ニ而挨拶ニ参祝酒飯等出ル令相伴堀川

廿五日壬申晴瀬尾麾四郎方へ忌明後初而京何角挨拶
申入且此度美枝星野家え縁組相整吹聴申入也
来月一日一社一同御祈祷被 仰出祝詞文觸書如左
近来違作去秋殊不熟萬民将及飢餒穰此凶兆迎
彼豊歳偏在仰
神明之冥睠因茲五穀豊穣海内静謐

○御所様御違例のため、御執行を小林豊後介の病気により御断り申し上げ、福井近江守へ仰せ付けられ御請け申し上げた。ただしこれまで御薬として鯉魚湯のところ、会より分消湯に御転方となった。
二十二日己巳曇り 千子再縁治定につき施薬院へ罷り越し、父子面会し吹聴申し入れた。○堀川へ立ち寄り、昨日の何かと挨拶申し入れた。
二十三日庚午晴れ 今日氏哲亭において三番構の御田楽奏進につき、経千・経啓が夕飯に参った。今晩経啓が初めて代勤を務めることになり参集した。経紀は所労中につき不参。経千・清魚両人が当年よりの催行方を兼ね頼まれ領掌することとなった。経子は入夜に所持に参り、諸事例の如く了した。○美枝縁組相整につき、保生院代・銀堀川左衛門大志両人より祝義として女扇子二本入り箱・紅絹一反が到来した。○堀川近江守辞官返上位記の願いの通り聞し召され相済んだ。
二十四日辛未雨 堀川左衛門大志家督相続已後、初めて史生官人を招かれ、新庄伊予掾・篠田上総掾・福西大隅目等が罷り出たが、その余は不参。予は常服にて挨拶に参り、祝酒・飯等が出され相伴した。堀川弾正忠も来会し同様であった。
二十五日壬申晴れ 瀬尾麾四郎方へ忌明け後初めて、京都での何かと挨拶申し入れ、かつこの度美枝が星野家へ縁組相整ったことを吹聴申し入れた。
来月一日、一社一同御祈祷が仰せ出され、祝詞文・触書は以下の通り：
「近来違作、去秋殊に不熟にて万民飢餒に及ばんとす。この凶兆を穰ぎ彼の豊歳を迎えることは、偏に神明の冥覧を仰ぐにある。これにより五穀豊穣・海内静謐・宝祚長久・黎民娯楽の御祈りを来月一日一社一同殊に精誠を抽んで懇念を凝らすべき事。」

○Due to His Lordship's illness, the ceremonial execution was declined due to Kobayashi Bungo-no-suke's illness, and it was entrusted to Fukui Ōmi-no-kami who accepted it. However, the medicine was changed from carp soup to bunshō-tō from the meeting.
22nd day, Tsuchinoto-mi, cloudy - Regarding the arrangement of Senko's remarriage, [I] went to Seyaku-in for a father-son meeting and made the announcement. ○ Stopped by Horikawa and made various greetings about yesterday's matters.
23rd day, Kanoe-uma, clear - Today at Ujitetsu's residence, for the performance of three-part sacred dengaku music, Senchi and Keikei came for evening meal. Tonight Keikei performed deputy duties for the first time and assembled. Senki did not attend due to illness. Both Senchi and Seigyo were entrusted with and took charge of this year's arrangements. Senko came for evening duties, and all matters were completed as usual. ○ Regarding the completion of Mie's marriage arrangement, from Hōshō-in's representative and Ginhorikawa Saemon Taishi, congratulatory gifts of a box containing two women's fans and one roll of red silk arrived. ○ Horikawa Ōmi-no-kami's petition for resignation and return of court rank was granted as requested.
24th day, Kanoto-hitsuji, rain - After Horikawa Saemon Taishi's succession as family head, scribal officials were invited for the first time. Shinjō Iyo-no-jō, Shinoda Kazusa-no-jō, Fukunishi Ōsumi-no-me and others attended, but the rest did not participate. I attended in regular dress for greetings, and celebratory sake and meals were served, which I partook of. Horikawa Danjō-chū also came and did likewise.
25th day, Mizunoe-saru, clear - To Seo Kishi-rō's place, for the first time after the end of mourning, [I] made various greetings about Kyoto matters and also announced that Mie's marriage arrangement with the Hoshino family had been completed.
On the first day of next month, simultaneous prayers at all shrines were ordered, with the prayer text and circular notice as follows:
"Recently there have been crop failures, last autumn was particularly poor, and the people are about to face starvation. To ward off these evil omens and welcome abundant harvests depends entirely upon looking up to the divine protection of the gods. Therefore, prayers for abundant five grains, peace throughout the realm, long life of the imperial throne, and the people's happiness shall be offered on the first day of next month, with all shrines together devoting especial sincerity and concentrated earnest thought."
