十一日丁巳晴れ 醍醐殿の御父子が参殿され、御棺前で御焼香、御拝礼があった。次に御同家格大夫かつ大政所御方の御付き医師まで拝礼し、次に表の御家来分も同じく拝礼して焼香を奉じた。 十二日戊午晴れ 御凶事の御入用につき、勝茂兵衛より臨時金五十両を御借入することとなった。○御墓所の宝穴掘りならびに御石棺三段積み、油石灰〆、枕石二本、蓋石六枚並びに御納棺等の設置を永野屋七右衛門へ申し付けた。但し穴の長さ二間、幅一間半、深さ一丈五尺計り。御石棺は長さ七尺五寸、幅四尺五分、深さ三尺余り。御槨は長さ六尺五寸、幅三尺五分、高さ二尺七寸である。○白木の御輿は御出入りの輿屋桔梗屋六兵衛へ申し付け、棒共に総檜作りとした。但し棒の長さ二丈八尺、松材の内に申し付けたところ、檜にするべき旨が出された。明十三日入夜に調えることができる約定である。○今日東福寺より拝借物類品々を申し出してきた。別記は略。 十三日己未晴れ 東福寺の御葬式御場所、御墓地、御道筋等の総検分のため、掛り大夫難波伊予守、御用人村田式部丞ならびに経千、御近習村上矢柄、裂奉行の内青士鈴木鉄次郎等が未明より罷り越し、午時に帰殿した。但し賄方藤田雄左衛門も召し連れた。○入夜早々に桔梗屋より御輿が調進された。御棺槨の重さはおよそ二百貫目、御輿百貫匁で合わせて三百貫目である。 十四日庚申晴れ 明十五日の御内一統並びに御語らい、御出入り方、雇い人足まで夕飯一回、およそ三百人ほど。仕出し飯八十、豆腐一丁物を御出入りの丹波屋市兵衛へ申し付け、一人一匁振替である。当時の米高値につきこのようである。奥向きも同断で箱挟屋経七へ申し付け終了。 十五日辛酉晴れ 大勝寺殿は今夜御葬送である。経千は東福…

Eleventh day, Hinoto-Mi, Clear - Lord Daigo and his son came to the palace and performed incense offering and worship before the coffin. Next, the family retainer of equivalent rank and the physician attending to the Ōmandokoro paid their respects, followed by the front retainers who also paid respects and offered incense. Twelfth day, Tsuchinoe-Uma, Clear - For the funeral expenses, fifty ryō in emergency funds were borrowed from Katsu Mohē. ○The digging of the treasure pit for the burial site, the three-tiered stone coffin, oil and lime sealing, two pillow stones, six cover stones, and the installation of the burial coffin were assigned to Naganoya Shichirōemon. The pit measures two ken in length, one and a half ken in width, and approximately one jō five shaku in depth. The stone coffin is seven shaku five sun long, four shaku five bu wide, and over three shaku deep. The outer coffin is six shaku five sun long, three shaku five bu wide, and two shaku seven sun high. ○The white wood palanquin was ordered from the palanquin maker Kikyōya Rokubē, to be made entirely of hinoki cypress including the carrying poles. The poles are two jō eight shaku long; although initially ordered to be made of pine, it was decided they should be made of hinoki. The agreement was to have it ready by the evening of the 13th. ○Today, Tōfuku-ji submitted a list of various items to be borrowed. Details omitted. Thirteenth day, Tsuchinoto-Hitsuji, Clear - For a general inspection of Tōfuku-ji's funeral ceremony venue, burial ground, and procession routes, supervising retainer Nanba Iyonokami, administrator Murata Shikibu-no-jō, along with Keisen, close attendant Murakami Yagara, and from the ceremonial officials, samurai Suzuki Tetsujirō departed before dawn and returned to the palace at noon. Catering manager Fujita Yūzaemon was also brought along. ○Early in the evening, the palanquin was delivered from Kikyōya. The coffin and outer coffin weigh approximately 200 kan, and the palanquin 100 kan, totaling 300 kan. Fourteenth day, Kanoe-Saru, Clear - For tomorrow the 15th, one evening meal for approximately 300 people including all palace staff, associates, affiliated parties, and hired laborers. Eighty portions of boxed meals and tofu dishes were ordered from the affiliated Tanbaya Ichibē at one monme per person. This is due to the current high rice prices.
