下候旨ニ而被相送也及固辞候得共今日勘定も相済由ニ付

廿五日辛未晴東福寺へ御参詣正卯刻■御巳半刻三七日也
御近習所労人有之御無人ニ付予御供ニ参也
廿七日癸酉曇午後夕立雷鳴数声関東 大樹公内府公
大納言殿御三方より之御弔悔奉書到来今日御附
武家より大夫中被相招代下橋大和介行向請取之但
穢中ニ付門外ニ而案内之處不苦由ニ而通し弥無間ニ而
公用人より相渡云々御奉書写如左
一條准后殿薨去之段被 聞召候大納言殿以為愁傷
と被思召候此由可相達旨依
御意如此候右之趣可有減達候恐〻謹言

下され候旨にて送られ候なり。固辞に及び候えども、今日勘定も相済み候由に付き、そのまま金相受け了んぬ。
二十五日辛未晴れ。東福寺へ御参詣、正卯刻■御巳半刻、三七日なり。御近習所労人これ有り、御無人に付き予御供に参るなり。
二十七日癸酉曇り。午後夕立・雷鳴数声。関東大樹公・内府公・大納言殿御三方よりの御弔慰奉書到来。今日御附武家より大夫中招かれ、代として下橋大和介行き向かい請け取る。但し穢中に付き門外にて案内の処、不苦由にて通し、いよいよ間もなくて公用人より相渡す云々。御奉書写し左の如し。
一条准后殿薨去の段聞し召され候。大納言殿以てひとしく愁傷と思し召され候。この由相達すべき旨、御意に依りかくの如く候。右の趣減達有るべく候。恐々謹言。

25th day, Kanoto-Hitsuji, clear weather. Visit to Tōfuku-ji Temple, from the hour of the Rabbit ■ to half past the hour of the Snake. Third seventh day memorial. There was an ill person among the close attendants, and due to lack of personnel, I accompanied the visit.
27th day, Mizunoto-Tori, cloudy. Afternoon evening shower with several thunder sounds. Condolence letters arrived from three parties in Kantō: the Shogun, the Inner Minister, and the Great Counselor. Today, representatives were summoned from the attached warrior families, and Shimohashi Yamato-no-suke went as a representative to receive them. However, due to the period of defilement, guidance was provided outside the gate, but it was deemed acceptable to proceed, and they were delivered by the public officials without delay, etc. The copies of the formal letters are as follows:
Regarding the death of Ichijō Quasi-Empress, this has been heard. The Great Counselor equally grieves over this matter. According to His will, this message should be conveyed. The above matter should be reported with reverence. With fear and respect.
