覚
一社中御臺所従来之御借財相嵩候ニ付右為返
済當六月ゟ十ヶ年之間厳敷省略被相立候惣而
役科并下行方に至迄減少有之候得は自然と
一統へも相鬮難渋ニ可相成候間萬事費ヶ間敷
儀無之様銘々専ラ心を以被付候事
一御所表ゟ毎度被仰下候通身分不相應之行状有
之間敷候事
一他所ハ不及申於當所も喧嘩口論取致間敷候萬
一無礼之族有之候共神妙ニ應對可有之高声之
口論打擲等決而被致間敷事
一博奕之席ハ上下之無差別乱雑ニ相成候故地下人ゟ
も上を不憚及無禮候様二も相成候間決而社家中
博奕之席え被立寄間敷候事
一今度東御役所ゟ御用水御差支ニ不相成様可取斗
旨水役人被召被仰渡御請書をも差上帰り候趣
社中江届出候間弥川表御違有之間敷別而此節
照續ニ而日々少水ニ相成候処堰石堰草等有之候而
ハ水行不宜田地震水之差支ニも相成候間旁心得違無
之様可被致候事
一盆踊之儀右省略中被差止候事
一御社領山之立木之儀ハ御臺所手當之品ニ御尋木
ニ而も松木等切取申間敷候已来山廻り之儀ハ席

覚
一、社中御台所従来の御借財相嵩み候に付き、右返済のため当六月より十ヶ年の間、厳しく省略相立てられ候。総じて役科並びに下行方に至るまで減少これ有り候えば、自然と一統へも相響き難渋に相成るべく候間、万事費え間敷き儀これ無きよう、銘々専ら心を以て付けられ候事
一、御所表より毎度仰せ下され候通り、身分不相応の行状これ有るまじく候事
一、他所は申すに及ばず、当所においても喧嘩口論取り致すまじく候。万一無礼の族これ有り候とも、神妙に応対有るべし。高声の口論・打擲等決して致されるまじき事
一、博奕の席は上下の差別無く乱雑に相成り候故、地下人よりも上を憚らず無礼に及び候ようにも相成り候間、決して社家中博奕の席へ立ち寄られるまじく候事
一、今度東御役所より御用水御差支に相成らぬよう取り斗うべき旨、水役人召され仰せ渡され、御請書をも差し上げ帰り候趣、社中へ届け出で候間、いよいよ川表御違いこれ有るまじ。別して此の節照り続きにて日々少水に相成り候処、堰石・堰草等これ有り候ては水行き宜しからず、田地震水の差支にも相成り候間、かたがた心得違いこれ無きよう致されるべく候事

○Notice arrived from within the shrine community, as follows:
Memorandum
1. Due to the accumulation of debts in the shrine kitchen from previous times, for the repayment thereof, strict economies shall be instituted for ten years beginning from this sixth month. In general, if there are reductions in service taxes and distributions, this will naturally affect everyone and cause hardship, so everyone should take special care that there be no wasteful expenditures whatsoever.
1. As repeatedly instructed from the Imperial Palace, there shall be no conduct inappropriate to one's station.
1. Not only elsewhere but also at this place, quarrels and disputes shall not be engaged in. Even if there are disrespectful persons, one should respond prudently. Loud arguments, physical violence, and such shall absolutely not be committed.
1. Since gambling gatherings become disorderly without distinction between high and low ranks, and commoners may become disrespectful toward their superiors without restraint, shrine family members shall absolutely not frequent gambling establishments.
1. Recently, water officials were summoned by the Eastern Government Office and instructed to manage matters so that the official water supply would not be interrupted, and written acknowledgments were submitted before returning. This matter has been reported to the shrine community, so there must be no violations regarding the river. Especially during this period of continued drought with daily water shortages, if there are stone dams, grass blockages, and such, water flow will be poor and may interfere with irrigation of rice fields, so everyone should take care not to misunderstand this matter.
1. Regarding Bon dancing, this is suspended during the aforementioned period of economy.
